We did what was required but I feel we missed out on a big tally. Zagreb looked very much there for the taking and it's not an overstatement to say we could've had 6 or 7. It doesn't mean anything regarding our qualification (or not) from the group though so just nit-picking. Cazorla, Oezil and Sanchez were very good as you'd expect and defensively we weren't troubled. I understand why Wenger brought the 3 players he did on but I wanted to see how Reine-Adelaide faired against proper opposition. We already know he's great in the under ages, I think Arsene missed a trick not playing him today. I'm confident we can beat Olympiakos by 2 or more goals with our first XI fit. Giroud didn't do much today but I think we'll play Walcott in Greece anyway, providing he is fit obviously, because of his pace.
Tbh qualifying for the CL now will be a little hard but definitely possible, we just need to win by 2 goals, Arsenal has Norwich and Sunderland coming up so if we can put together some good form it'll put us in a really good situation
I hope Ramsey and Adelaide will feature, they could useful in these injury-fulled periods. Also likes of Cazorla and Sanchez can't play every possible minute.
Arsenal should lose on purpose, get bottom spot and focus on the league, no way they're winning the champions league anyway, avoid the Europa league at all costs
@JoeB91- If we end up in the Europa league, I can see Wenger putting out an entirely second XI anyway tbh so I don't think it'll affect our title challenge. That competition exists purely for those not good enough to finish in the top 4 of their domestic league.... and Italian teams. :-p
Arsenal are going to have to work hard for this one. Arsenal will be confident after beating Bayern, however Zagreb will be eager to repeat last time's success, and confident that they can after beating Arsenal last time. Arsenal have a lot of injured players leaving the defensive midfield quite a bit weaker. I think Arsenal will end up on top in a hard fought victory of either 2-1 or 1-0. If they fail to do this their Champions League campaign might as well be over.
Unfortunately, I don't think Flamini is good enough. Wenger should go left field and select Debuchy in the defensive midfield role (like Pep likes to do). He should be strong enough in that position to hold back the Olympiakos attack and his speed won't be as much of a weakness as it is at right back. While he probably won't do the Alonso role, he has Cazorla to do that and should be able to provide the defensive sting that Coquelin usually provides.
@ArsenalBayern I agree. I think Koscielny could also play the defensive midefield role, while Gabriel would partner with Mertesacker at the CB. I don't trust Flamini's level of concentration
Delighted with the way Arsenal performed last night. Hopefully more of that against Olympiakos.
Özil was not bad...

OFFICIAL: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Cazorla, Campbell, Oezil, Alexis, Giroud. BENCH: Ospina, Debuchy, Chambers, Gabriel, Gibbs, Ramsey, Reine-Adelaide.
We'll probably scrape a 2-0, scoring the second goal in added time.

Flamini can do a job when he wants! Would not mind chambers in there too! is. 3:0 to home side! dorm see Dynamo upsetting at Emirates!

i would try Chambers at CDM honestly
Dinamo boss is in jail, Wenger is crazy about dopinga..100% home win.
5-0
Maybe Arsenal need to buy Mile Jedinak from Palace in January because of injury to Coquelin and Arteta.
COYG!!!

This is a do or do. Arsenal 2-0
do or die
4 - 1 Arsenal Win.
Hope to see a Cazorla-Ramsey midfield with the Ox on the right wing

@ArsenalBayern Debuchy as DM? Can I have some of your mushrooms please.
@ArsenalBayern- I have a feeling Chambers will start in DCM.
@SteveHyland I'm ok with this as well. I think a defender (pretty much anyone) will be better than Flamini. I meant Zagreb attack by the way.

A must-win and preferably a thrashing. Going to be positive and say 4-0.
