Now Italy has already surpassed England in points in the Uefa 5 years counting. If both countries keep their record of winning and losing England will lose a CL spot the following year ...
@SteveHyland Kazan had a red card after 36 minutes. Liverpool were clueless on the highlights, too many shots outside the box. I think bringing on Leiva with Can and Milner already on the pitch is a strange change. Ibe should have come on as well as Benteke and Firmino. Bringing Leiva on against 10 men makes no sense to me.
@TacticalMastermind It does make some sense. Teams that go a man up and put a lot of pressure can be caught on the counter. Bringing in a player like Lucas to sit back and act as an insurance policy against that isn't a bad idea. Basically, the team with 11 faces all 10 of the remaining opposition once they back into their own territory to try and hold the draw, and playing Lucas back gives you a chance to stop any counter attacks before they become threatening.
I didn't actually get a chance to see this match, so I'm not sure if that's what happened, but just generally, bringing a defensive player on isn't a bad idea in this situation, I think.
@ralleke It took a deflection off the defender. It has to be a pure assist to count on here. Like how winning a free kick or penalty never counts as an assist here, but does on fantasy football.
Is Sturridge injured again? Listed as doubtful above. I don't think Liverpool will score more than 1 without him or Benteke so will say 1-0. I do think Klopp will get the players taking this competition seriously though since it's a route into the CL. Even with Chelsea's poor start, it's unlikely they'll finish outside the top 4 with the players they have. We shall see.
If liverpool fail to win here, they are done. They have a tough schedule before traveling to russia for the "return-leg". Plus injuries and assuming they are figting for top 4 in BPL, etc.
Im just curious as to how Klopp will approach europa.
Perfect first game at Anfield for Klopp, I can see a high scoring Liverpool win, Rubin are struggling at the moment even with a new manager, and Liverpool look full of confidence and belief after grinding out a 0-0 against a side who beat league champions 4-1 just a few weeks ago.
Liverpool 4-0 Rubin.
Most likely a win for Liverpool or a draw, game comes as a test to see who has had the more effective change of manager. Rubin are incredibly inconsistent this season and more often than not completely lacking in goals and highly questionable in defence. The Rubin team that finished at the end of last season could very well have gone for a win( not to mention the Rubin of Barcelona-beating past) probably the best they can hope for atm is a draw. Liverpool have got enough quality players to expose Rubin and get a positive result.

@neumi17 Should be Germany.. PL keeps wrecking them.
@richccfc Ha,ha, nice try...
@neumi17 14 PL wins, 3 draws, 5 losses to BL.. PL>>BL fact
Is that a typo, 35 shots? Either wastefulness in the extreme from Liverpool o a blinder from Ryzhikov.

@SteveHyland Mostly outside the box and long distance, only 5 saves.
Origi has an assist.

@ralleke Mrs. Origi we get the message.
@ralleke no, it was by the defender
Assist Origi?
Assist Origi?
easy both to score and ht loss-->> ft win trick :)
1-2

3-0
Haghighi is one of best goallkippers in the world. but unfortunately rusian's love their own low level players
@Volverhampton Maybe on of the best goallkippers but not really one of the best goalkeepers in the world lol. Ryzhikov is a very good keeper.
I see liverpool winning with a very low margin...I predict 1-0 in favour of liverpool
I'm preety confident liverpool will have 3 points with a small margin of win due to the energy being huge benefit of Klopp.....
hope no Toure in first 11, if so both to score great bet
@koziol.mutant both score is a good call
