You know why it was a draw, enough though Burnley never score away from home and Spurs have the best defense in the league?
Because I bet on Spurs winning.
@SteveHyland I've seen only seen highlights and listened to radio commentary (it's not easy down here in Oz) so I can't give a definite answer. It sounded like they dominated much of the match and had a enough chances to win (they had a decent XG) but towards the end of the match the pressure got to them a bit. Being in different stadium isn't going to help and it might cost them 10-12 points this season. Hopefully, they just haven't quite got in their grove yet.
As WhoScored says, Burnley should do well in the air and will be dangerous from set pieces. However, I'd also expect Spurs to enjoy a lot of possession and to create enough chances to win this one and get the 3 points. Tottenham 2-1 Burnley.
@MEHJones well if that's their only tactics am afraid for them cus Tottenham will rarely give away fouls and Burnley won't even see much of the ball. this should be a comfy victory for Tottenham both goal wise and possession wise
@jefferee Also although the current Spurs side tend to be very good defensively, against Chelsea, they gave away a dangerous free kick within the first 23 minutes and it led to to the opening goal.
@jefferee I hope you're right but teams like Burnley, Leicester, and West Brom regularly show that possession is not everything. Last year Man U, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Man City (55-60%) all had higher average possession than Chelsea (54%) but it was Chelsea that finished top. Moreover, Middlesbrough had a fairly decent average possession (48%) but finished below teams like West Brom (41%).
@jefferee- That is pretty much their only tactics away from home which is why they had such a terrible away record last season (W1 - D4 - L14). It is more a case of trying not to lose than trying to win for Dyche away from Turf Moor but, to be fair, their home form kept them up last season and probably will this.
This season could be a very successful for Tottenham again, and of course they win this match very easy. Burnley surprise Chelsea in first fixture, but in second lose against West Bromwich so I think, Tottenham win this game very easy Wembley home ground and of course full squad who evey year surprise much and much. Prediction Tottenham 3:0 Burnley.
Greetings.

@andrew7taylor- Nice, keep betting on Spurs to win and make my season a little more bearable.
I knew it wouldn't be a walkover and could see that coming a mile off.
@MEHJones- Only saw highlights. Did Wembley play a role or was this just one of those games?
