Team News

  • Brice Djadjedje will be missing for about 10 days with a groin injury.
  • Fabrice Ehret, Bertrand Laquiat, Mohammed Rabiu, Guillaume Rippert and Jonathan Mensah are all ruled out through injury.
  • Evian have suffered a huge blow as they will be without Sidney Govou for the rest of the season due to an Achilles injury.
  • Franck Tabanou is still suspended for one game. Paulo Machado took his place against Lyon and should continue there.
  • Doubts remain over Serge Aurier, and Etienne Didot is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
  • Aymen Abdennnour should return from suspension after missing the Lyon victory.

Prediction

  • If results go their way, Evian could move into 8th place - an amazing achievement for their first season in Ligue 1. To do so they must stop the current trend of winning one and then losing the subsequent match. In the last six games they have won three and lost three.
  • They face a very high spirited Toulouse side who come here off the back of an excellent 3-0 win over Lyon and have given themselves a fantastic chance to be playing in Europe next season. It may be too late to catch Lille in 3rd, but 4th or 5th would still be an achievement.
  • Both teams are playing well at the moment, Toulouse aren’t usually as free scoring as they were against Lyon, but will be confident of getting past a leaky ETG defence. Evian face the opposite problem, as goals might be difficult to come by.
