Team News

  • Beg Ferati could replace the suspended Fallou Diagne at centre-back.
  • Oliver Sorg could fill in for the injured Mensur Mujdza at right-back again, meaning Andreas Hinkel would start on the bench.
  • Johannes Flum returns from suspension and will most likely start in defensive midfield.
  • Sokratis could replace the injured Naldo at centre-back again, allowing Clemens Fritz to start at right-back.
  • At left-back, Florian Hartherz could get another chance, despite Lukas Schmitz returning from suspension.
  • Zlatko Junuzovic could make his Bundesliga debut in central midfield.
  • Marko Marin and Mehmet Ekici compete for the spot in central attacking midfield.

Prediction

  • Freiburg are still at the bottom of the table and the team has to find form once again, after a disappointing performance against Mainz last weekend. The return of Johannes Flum should give them more stability in central midfield again.
  • Bremen have not won in their last three games and injuries cost them consistency. A game against Freiburg is a good opportunity to gain back confidence though. The arrival of Zlatko Junuzovic adds creativity to their midfield.
  • Expect Bremen to dominate possession and to have the majority of the chances. The away team should be favourites to win, with their attacking quality undoubtedly superior.
  • PREDICTION: Bremen win 3-1

Latest Comments

  • Thats pretty harsh on Freiburg, they were 2-0 down and with 10 men within 5 minutes, you can say it was a dissappointing 5 minutes but you cant exactly criticise them for the whole game, they actually put in a pretty creditable second half performance
