Team News

  • Brest manager Landry Chauvin has very few concerns ahead of this weekend's clash.
  • Alexandre Alphonse is still unavailable due to an achilles problem, while Adama Ba has a back injury.
  • Ousmane Coulibaly is a doubt with a groin concern, and Richard Soumah will also be unavailable due to a knee injury.
  • Marseille will be without Andre Pierre-Gignac who has still yet to recover from a foot injury.
  • Gennaro Bracligliano will also miss out with a shoulder complaint, while Leyti N'Diaye has a thigh injury.
  • Senah Mango is out with an ankle problem, but Morgan Amalfitano returns from suspension.
  • L'OM will be without veteran defender Rod Fanni however, as he begins a suspension following dismissal against Lyon.

  • Brest take on Marseille at the Stade Francis Le-Ble hoping to continue a fine run of form in front of their home fans.
  • Landry Chauvin's men have yet to lose at home this season, and they will be confident of maintaining that record after just one defeat in their last four league games.
  • Visitors Marseille will be looking to pick themselves up following a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Lyon. However, with an attack that has struggled without an Andre-Pierre Gignac, and a defence that has looked increasingly fragile, it is difficult to see them leaving Brittany with a result.
  • Expect Brest to attack with plenty of energy and verve in front of a raucous home crowd. Marseille have struggled away from home at times this term, and this could well be another disappointing journey for Elie Baup's men.
