Team News

  • Nice have very few new injury concerns going into the clash but still have a number of players unavailable for selection.
  • Diacko Fofana is expected to be out for six months after rupturing the cruciate ligaments in his knee, and midfielder Kevin Anin remains unavailable due to personal problems.
  • Moussa M'Bow has a knee problem, while Stephane Bahoken is out with a leg injury.
  • Xavier Pentecote and Fabien Dao Castellana are still recovering from injuries, and Cyril Hennion remains on the sidelines with a groin injury.
  • PSG have very few injuries to contend with ahead of their trip south.
  • Kevin Gameiro has a back problem, and Mathieu Bodmer and Thiago Motta are both fitness doubts. However, aside from that Carlo Ancelotti will be able to choose from a fully fit squad.

Prediction

  • Nice welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Stade du Ray on a fine run of form that has seen them move towards the top half.
  • Les Aiglons have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes in recent weeks, and are in unbeaten in their last four league encounters, while PSG returned to winning ways following a difficult few weeks with a 4-0 win over Troyes at the Parc Des Princes.
  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic was on target twice for the Parisians in that game, and Carlo Ancelotti will be eager for the Swede to continue his scoring run and help PSG avoid another slip up in the title race.
  • Expect the home side, who will be roared on by a passionate home following, to provide the title favourites with a stern test. However, with Ibrahimovic in the form of his life, PSG should be able to head back to the capital with three points.
