Team News

  • PSG have very few injuries to contend with ahead of the visit of Evian.
  • Kevin Gameiro has a back problem, while Thiago Motta is still struggling with a calf injury.
  • Blaise Matuidi is suspended after being sent off against Nice but goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu returns to action.
  • Evian are still set to be without two experienced central defenders, with Jonathan Mensah and Cedric Cambon both unavailable through injury.
  • Ali M'Madi is also still out, but Olivier Sorlin returns from suspension.

Prediction

  • Paris Saint-Germain welcome Evian to the Parc Des Princes hoping to recover some ground in the race for the title after suffering a surprise defeat at the hands of Nice.
  • Top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted on the South Coast, but PSG fell victim to a late winner from Valentin Eysseric, who scored four minutes from time to give Nice all three points. The capital club were quick to bounce back from that result, as they overcame Portuguese side Porto in the Champions league to seal first place in their group.
  • Carlo Ancelotti's men will look to build on that result and attempt to bridge the gap behind leaders Lyon and second placed Marseille, but they may find stiff competition in Evian, who are unbeaten in their last four matches, and have leading marksman Saber Khlifa available for selection.
  • Still it is difficult to see Les Roses coming away from the game with any points, and with Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Jeremy Menez all in good form, the Parisians should be able to cruise to victory.
