Team News

  • Ajaccio will be without David Oberhauser, who has a knee injury and Arnaud Maire, who has an ankle problem.
  • Carl Medjani and Mehdi Mostefa are at the African Cup of Nations with Algeria, Fousseni Diawara and Sigamary Diarra are both with the Malian squad and Chahir Belghazouani is with the Moroccan team.
  • Lisandro Lopez is a doubt for OL with a calf injury, while Jimmy Briand is left out, the winger has not played since early November.

Prediction

  • Ajaccio take on title challengers Lyon in Corsica looking to push up the league after earning a hard fought draw at Evian in their last encounter.
  • The islanders took the lead through new signing Dennis Oliech but were pegged back in the second half, making it three consecutive draws for Albert Emon's side.
  • Meanwhile Lyon continue to go from strength to strength and earned another fine win at Valenciennes last weekend with goals from Gueida Fofana and Bafetimbi Gomis.
  • Ajaccio is always a difficult place to go and take all three points but given their fantastic record on the road this season it is hard to foresee anything other than a win for Les Gones.
