Team News

  • There is finally some good news on the injury front for Sochaux with Mathieu Peybernes and David Sauget set to return.
  • Cedric Kante has also resumed training after picking up an injury against Troyes
  • Carlao and Yassin Mikari are both set to return from hamstring and thigh injuries, while Roy Contout and Papa Camara should should make their comebacks.
  • Defender Yaya Banana is still on the sidelines due to a calf injury, while Pierrick Cros, Thierry Doubai and Sanjin Prcic are all out with knee problems.
  • PSG will again be without Thiago Silva, who has a thigh complaint, while Thiago Motta has a hamstring injury.

Prediction

  • PSG will look to extend their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table when they face relegation threatened Sochaux at the Stade Auguste Bonal.
  • The Parisians have enjoyed a very positive week, beating Bastia before seeing their advantage at the summit of the division to six points after Lyon and Marseille both slipped to defeats. Carlo Ancelotti's men then overcame Valencia in the first-leg of their Champions League last-16 tie to put them in the driving seat ahead of the return leg at the Parc Des Princes.
  • Sochaux, who took a point from their trip to Troyes last weekend, will aim to try and capitalise on any overhanging fatigue PSG may be suffering from, but the capital club are likely to have too much for Eric Hely's charges.
  • Les Lionceaux should provide the title favourites with a decent test, but it would be a major surprise if the visitors were to take anything less than a win from this encounter.
