Team News
Swansea
Chelsea
- Swansea were rather unfortunate to come away from the Etihad with nothing last week, losing 1-0 to a Carlos Tevez strike when they should have been ahead by the time he scored.
- Michel Vorm sustained a nasty groin injury in trying to save Tevez's shot. He was stretchered off following the incident and will not play here. Gerhard Tremmel will fill in between the posts.
- Chico faces a late fitness test on a dead leg picked up in midweek, while Taylor and Bartley remain absent.
- Fernando Torres returns after missing the midweek League Cup clash after being sent off against Manchester United last Sunday and serving his suspension in midweek.
- Azpilicueta should come continue to deputise at right-back for the suspended Ivanovic.
- Ashley Cole is fit enough to return, but both David Luiz and Juan Mata are rated as very doubtful.
- John Terry serves the final game of his four match suspension.
ACM all young player n romeu..
A match with goals. yessssss!
Loads of goals. Hazard is my fantasy captain so hoping for a few for him
Ivanovic is available. His one-match ban was served during the Capital One Cup, as was the case with Torres. Ivanovic could start at right-back.
chelsea's defense without terry is absolutely crappy. they've conceded 4 goals in his absence. not a hater, but i can't really wait to see him back even though he is a first class c**t. his leadership is highly missed in that Chelsea back line
