Wigan
Man City
- Wigan's defensive woes worsened at the weekend when Ivan Ramis was withdrawn due to a hamstring injury against Reading, with Caldwell still a major doubt and Alcaraz sidelined.
- Piscu is likely to get a rare start with Emmerson Boyce again filling in in the back three and Stam likely to keep his place on the right wing.
- James McArthur could replace David Jones in midfield, while Di Santo should come back into a front three including hat-trick hero Jordi Gomez.
- Both Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez were dropped to the bench against Chelsea but should return to the side after City drew a blank at the Bridge.
- Balotelli will also hope for a chance to start in place of Milner but is less likely to do so, while the back four should remain unchanged unless Mancini decides to rotate Maicon and Zabaleta once again.
- With Clichy still set to be sidelined, Kolarov should keep his place on the left with Nastasic continuing to partner Vincent Kompany.
