Team News

  • Julio Cesar is still a doubt and after a number of key saves kept his side in the game at Wigan, Robert Green is sure to keep his place in the team.
  • Djibril Cisse will hope to start after scoring from the bench last time out while Granero also made an impact and will vie for a place in the side with veteran Shaun Derry.
  • Elsewhere the team may remain unchanged, with the likes of Ferdinand, Hoilett, Park and Faurlin having to make do with places on the bench.
  • Simon Davies has returned to training after a long spell on the sidelines but is short of fitness, while Bryan Ruiz is the only player in the treatment room at Craven Cottage as it stands.
  • The team, therefore, may remain unchanged from the win over Newcastle, with Chris Baird set to get the nod over Diarra in midfield.
  • The main competition for places could come out wide, with Kacaniklic, Dejagah, Richardson and Frei all likely to compete for one spot on the left.

Prediction

  • After three successive draws against relegation rivals it is imperative that Harry Redknapp and QPR get their first win of the season as quickly as possible and a home game against local rivals Fulham, who are notoriously poor away from home, may be the best chance they have for some time.
  • The Cottagers have won just once away from home all season and have shipped 16 goals on the road, so QPR will be keen to add to a dismal tally of just 5 goals in 7 home matches this season.
  • Fulham have come out on top in the most recent encounters between the sides, with a double over QPR last year including a 6-0 home win. This game, however, may not bring many goals and is likely to be a very tense affair for the home support.
