Team News

  • Arsene Wenger has an unusual situation on his hands with all of his first team players potentially available for selection.
  • Abou Diaby is, however, unlikely to be rushed back into action after coming through an hour of reserve team action in midweek.
  • The main decision Wenger must make is who to start up front between Walcott and Giroud, though the Frenchman is a doubt after picking up a knock in the cup against Swansea
  • Roberto Mancini will be without Yaya Toure, who is away on international duty at the African Cup of Nations, so Javi Garcia may start.
  • Sergio Aguero is out with a hamstring injury, so Tevez and Dzeko may start once again having done so in the cup last weekend.
  • Elsewhere Samir Nasri is still suspended so won't face his former club, while Nastasic and Lescott vie for a starting berth alongside Kompany.

Prediction

  • Manchester City haven't scored at the Emirates Stadium in each of their last 5 visits, with just 5 goals scored between the sides in their last 6 encounters in all competitions.
  • This game could well turn into a battle, despite the Gunners boasting the best disciplinary record in the league, with 4 red cards handed out on the last 5 occasions that the sides have met.
  • It is likely that City will need to win here, especially if United gain an advantage with a victory in the early kick off, if they are to have any hopes of retaining their title.

  • Abou Diaby want selling long time he no good for a hole year

  • Referee is totally stupid...

  • Funny thing is Arsenal still conceded after errors and/or lapses in concentration. Both red cards questionable too imo.

  • 3 - 1 for gunners

  • City are not going to win this

  • draw

  • 1:1 no clean sheet

  • Arsenal should have the edge one this one, considering all those players missing from the City squad. But you know Arsenal : unpredictable & inconsistent. A draw wouldnt help either of the teams so it should be a open game.

  • nil all at half time and full time ,2 separate bets

  • Arsenal's Weaknesses: DEFENDING

  • City are screwed without all those players, reckon Arsenal might score a few. 3-1 is my reckoning

  • OMG not Garcia, please

  • It's gonna be a very close game either 1-1 or 2-1, cant decide which way tho.

  • A Strong Draw in my opinion.

  • Arsenal win 2-0

  • good luck for city :)

  • hate to say it but i think 2-1 to city.
