West Ham
Tottenham
- Emanuel Pogatetz could keep his place in the starting XI, but with defensive players in McCartney, Collins and Potts all returning from injury, there is healthy competition in the West Ham squad.
- Matthew Taylor will be pushed by the likes of Vaz Te and Jarvis in hoping to start on the left side of midfield.
- Andy Carroll scored his first goal in West Ham colours against Tottenham at White Hart Lane and will hope to add to his rather poor tally of just 2 goals since joining.
- Tom Huddlestone should be back from a knee injury to push Scott Parker for a spot in defensive midfield, but his fitness is unlikely to affect the first XI.
- Lewis Holtby started for Spurs in the draw at Lyon and should retain his spot, with Clint Dempsey missing out once again and Jermain Defoe still injured.
- Hugo Lloris will return in goal having sat out the two recent Europa League clashes to give Brad Friedel a run out.
forget van persie, Gareth Bale is the best player in BPL right now.
