Team News
Osasuna
Barcelona
- Osasuna got off to a disappointing start with a 2-0 defeat to Deportivo on the opening weekend of the season, but they have often posed Barca a problem at El Sadar in the past; including a 3-2 defeat for the Catalans last season.
- Jose Luis Mendilibar is expected to make a few changes, with one of Nino or Joseba Llorente likely to drop to the bench to make room for an extra midfielder.
- Nano and Emilano Armenteros could also make their debuts.
- Barcelona have a busy week with their trip to Pamplona sandwiched between two Clasico clashes with Real Madrid.
- Therefore, Tito Vilanova is likely to make the most of his ample squad and rotate a few of those that started on Thursday night.
- Thiago will not be involved, though, as he is still a week or so away from returning to full training.
Without Raul Garcia and Lekić, Osasuna have really small chances for surprise here. We also have to mention, that last year there was disastrous conditions (pitch and weather). I said 0-4 for Barcelona.
Seems like yet another routine victory for Barca, though admittedly Pamplona is not exactly an easy place from where to pick up all 3 pts.
