Osasuna
Valencia
- Osasuna continued their recent revival as they moved out of the relegation zone for the first time this season with a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano last Friday.
- However, there was some bad news for Los Rojillos as Sisi suffered cruciate ligament damage in that game and will be out for 6-8 months.
- That should mean a start for Roland Lamah, whilst captain Patxi Puñal is also expected to return after a month out.
- Valencia meanwhile will take to the field for the first time on league duty under Ernesto Valverde after he replaced the sacked Mauricio Pellegrino earlier in the week.
- Jonas scored the only goal as Valverde got off to a winning start at Lille in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but the Brazilian is suspended for the trip to Pamplona after being sent-off in the 5-2 thrashing against Real Sociedad that ultimately cost Pellegrino his job last weekend.
- However, Roberto Soldado, Ever Banega, Fernando Gago and Diego Alves should all return after being rested from the start in midweek.
