Real Zaragoza's mini run of victories inevitably came to an end with a 4-0 defeat away to Real Madrid last weekend.
Manolo Jimenez made just the one change for the trip to the Bernabeu with Jose Mari coming in for Franco Zuculini but the Argentine may return for the visit of struggling Depor with Victor moving back into a central position behind Helder Postiga.
Depor have been beset by all sorts of problems in recent weeks with the club having money embargoed by the tax authorities and players having wage payments delayed.
However, on the field, they did managed to get their first win since the opening game of the season against Mallorca last weekend to move them out of the bottom three.
Injuries to Ayoze and Carlos Marchena mean that Evaldo and Aythami will have to be recalled to the defence, whilst Abel Aguilar remains on the sidelines and Nelson Oliveira is also expected to miss the next couple of weeks with a muscle injury.
Zaragoza were hard done by to lose 4-0 to Real last time out as the game was much closer than the scoreline would suggest and they will fancy their chances against a Depor side who have been distracted by events off the field this week.
The partnership between Postiga and Victor in particular has been a profitable one for Jimenez's men so far this season and they could expose a rejigged Depor defence without the experience of Marchena.
