Osasuna
Malaga
- Osasuna remain at the bottom of the table but brought themselves within one win of moving out of the relegation zone with their first victory on the road this season at Espanyol last weekend.
- However, Jose Luis Mendilibar still has a number of injury concerns with Roland Lamah, Patxi Puñal and possibly even one of last weekend's goalscorers, Alvaro Cejudo, out.
- Emilano Armenteros is also suspended so Manuel Omwu who also scored as a substitute last week may be handed a start in the line of three behind Kike Sola in attack.
- Malaga's poor league form continued with a second consecutive home defeat to Real Sociedad last weekend.
- Manuel Pellegrini will be able to recall Martin Demichelis and Ignacio Camacho who were both suspended last time out, but Nacho Monreal remains sidelined with a back injury.
- The Spanish international's absence means Pellegrini must decide between whether to use Eliseu at left-back or move him forward with Sergio Sanchez retaining his place in defence.
