Mallorca
- Rayo were brought back down to earth with a bump on Monday night with a 4-0 thrashing at Real Sociedad.
- Paco Jemez will also be forced into rearranging his backline as both Jose Casado and Alejandro Galvez are suspended, but Rodri should be fit enough to take Galvez's place at centre-back.
- Jordi Amat may also return in an unfamiliar position at left-back to cover for Casado, but further forward Jemez is expected to name the midfield and attack he has settled on in recent weeks.
- Mallorca ended their losing streak in the league at six games with a 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo last weekend to move two points clear of the relegation zone.
- The Islanders should also have some of their injured absentees back for the trip to Madrid as Giovani Dos Santos has been cleared to play and both Jose Nunes and Javi Marquez returned to training after two months out this week.
- Tomer Hemed remains the main man though and he has now scored more than 50% of Mallorca's goals in the league with 7 of their 13 so far this season.
