Team News
Barcelona
Real Betis
- Barcelona's 3-0 home defeat to Bayern in midweek will have shaken their confidence somewhat.
- Lionel Messi never appeared from the bench and as the tie was beyond Barcelona, they also withdrew Xavi and Andrés Iniesta.
- Tito Vilanova's team can't win the league this weekend, but they will field a strong side as they look to get as close as they can, though they will have to make do without the suspended Cesc Fábregas.
- Jorge Molina took his goal superbly to salvage a point against Deportivo last time out, but without a victory in the last three matches, Betis' European hopes are looking smaller by the day.
- There will be changes at the back as Damien Perquis is injured once more, the central defender has not completed 90 minutes since the start of February, so Mario is expected to fill in.
- Nacho will be replaced by Álex Martínez due to suspension and the midfield might be shaken up if Rubén Pérez moves up front, with Cañas having reached his limit of cards.
