Real Betis
- Deportivo climbed out of the bottom three last weekend as they rode their luck to claim a 1-1 draw away to Athletic Bilbao.
- The Galicians though are still without their first-choice centre-back pairing as Ze Castro and Carlos Marchena remain on the sidelines, but goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia will return between the sticks after serving his one-game suspension.
- Other than that change though Jose Luis Oltra is expected to name the same side that started at San Mames as they go in search of only their second win in 13 league games.
- Betis rebounded from their 5-1 thrashing in the Seville derby in style by beating Real Madrid 1-0 last weekend to move level with Malaga in fourth.
- Los Verdiblancos are still afflicted a huge number of defensive injuries for the trip to La Coruna though, with Alex Martinez becoming the latest to join the list.
- His absence will mean a start for Nacho at left-back alongside the pairing of Chechu Dorado and Antonio Amaya, who did well against the champions last weekend.
- With Juan Carlos out injured, Joel Campbell may be handed a rare start too, whilst Alvaro Vadillo is likely to feature at some stage after setting up two goals on his return after 13 months out against Valladolid in the cup in midweek.
