Rayo Vallecano
Levante
- Rayo bounced back to winning ways in spectacular style as they won for the first time ever at the Mestalla at the weekend thanks to Chori Dominguez's penalty.
- Los Franjirojos will be further boosted by the return of Javi Fuego from suspension and he will replace Adrian in midfield.
- Goalkeeper Diego Cobeño will not be available, though, after having to be replaced against Valencia, so Ruben Martinez will continue to deputise.
- Levante continued their fine form in the early Sunday afternoon kick-offs as they won for the fifth time in five tries at midday thanks to Ruben Garcia's goal in a 1-0 success at Real Zaragoza last time out.
- The 19-year-old was teed up for only his second senior goal by Michel and those two now seem to have supplanted Juanlu and Nabil El-Zhar in Juan Ignacio Martinez's first-choice XI.
- Martinez could have a problem at right-back for the trip to Vallecas as Christian Lell is suspended and Pedro Lopez is still a doubt with an abductor injury.
