Prediction

  • Toro have to avoid a drop in morale after the derby. The Granata put a huge amount of effort in to match Juventus' strength, but Glik's sending off in the first half ruined their game plan.
  • Milan are fast approaching the race for a European spot, and may even dream of the Champions League given the clash between Napoli and Inter, which will see at least one of them drop points. Allegri will have to cope with Montolivo's absence and prove that his midfield can work without the Italian international.
  • Ventura may prepare a similar game plan to the one Torino played against Juve, probably asking one of his forwards to help the midfield. Milan will lack their best playmaker and may need to go long more often than usual and press the opposing defence to gain the ball high up the pitch. Therefore the hosts will have to be very careful when they move the ball, as they usually try to get the goalkeeper involved, taking some risks.
