Team News

  • Captain Conti is suspended so Nainggolan will play in front of the defence in his stead.
  • Ekdal and Dessena will both be on the field at kick-off, along with the Belgian.
  • Pinilla and Nenè are in competition to partner Sau up front.
  • Bonucci is back available, but Chiellini got injured and will be out for at least two months.
  • Caceres will replace him in the three-man defence, but given that Asamoah will depart for the African Cup of Nations in January, Conte may even be considering switching back to a 4-3-3.
  • Quagliarella is battling for a spot in the starting XI.

Prediction

  • Cagliari have only collected two points in the last seven rounds and the Sardinians are going to play this "home" match in Parma due to safety issues concerning their stadium. Therefore, a large number of Juventus supporters are expected to make the Old Lady feel at home.
  • Juventus have got through the busiest part of the calendar, qualified in both the Champions League and Coppa Italia, and also got a favourable draw in the Champions League. On the psychological side, the Bianconeri are the strongest team in the league right now.
  • Juve will set a high tempo and try to get an early lead. Cagliari are one of the few teams that gave the Bianconeri some problems last season, but Conte's midfielders are always on fire even when the strikers are not. The hosts must defend compactly and try to collect a point by not committing errors.

  • ok, now makes sense!

  • @dilaru d statistic is absolutely right juventus Neva lost last season in the league Nd jes lost twice dis season makin dem undefeated in 54 of their last 57. The venue of dis encounter shod be a + for juventus ,so a 2 goal margin is certain.

  • Juventus are undefeated in 54 of their last 57 matches in Serie A ???? You must be kidding . In what year / edition of the championship, this season has already Juventus 2 defeats, so but the string of victories was interrupted by Milan and Inter on 3 NOV and 25 Nov..... Bad statistics on your part, please check your stats. I think today Juventus will lose again. 2-1
