Team News
Arsenal
Olympiacos
- Once again, Arsene Wenger will have to make do without Abou Diaby after the French midfielder was forced off towards the beginning of his side's loss to Chelsea.
- Mikel Arteta is a doubt with an ankle injury, but rarely misses a game and should be ok to play.
- Aaron Ramsey should come in to the midfield, while the likes of Giroud and Walcott may be hoping for a recall to the starting lineup.
- Arsene Wenger serves the second game of his suspension from European competition, so he will watch the game from the stands.
- Roy Carroll returns to England with Olympiakos here, and should start between the posts after missing the loss against Schalke a fortnight ago, but playing in the 2 subsequent games.
- Algerian duo Abdoun and Djebbour will provide much of the attacking threat for the Greek side, who currently sit top of the Greek Super League with a 100% record.
Arsenal don't like playing against Olympiakos... Yet, I hope we will win and begin to secure the first place (at least the second) in the group. I expect to see Giroud on the pitch, because Gervinho as center forward is not particularly convincing. Giroud, on the other hand, is gaining in confidence and is close to score many goals (I think). Go Arsenal!
Should be easier than 2-1! 4-1 is more like it!!!
