Although Gladbach have failed to match their exploits from last season they have recovered from a disappointing start to remain in contention for another Europa league berth next year.
Lazio, on the other hand, are hoping to be playing a level up in the Champions League next season despite a blip in Serie A since the turn of the year, with Klose's absence a big blow.
