Team News

  • Aaron Ramsey made his first league start since Boxing Day in the win over Hull and should keep his place in the midfield alongside Mikel Arteta.
  • Abou Diaby returned to action in U-21's this week, but has picked up another injury problem and won't feature for the first team again this season.
  • Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Thomas Vermaelen are out with injury, so Wenger should name an unchanged XI from the weekend.
  • Newcastle fell to their 5th consecutive defeat at the weekend, though will have been boosted by the return of Loïc Remy from injury.
  • However, Moussa Sissoko, Ryan Taylor, Gabriel Obertain, Sammy Ameobi, Davie Santon and Papiss Demba Cissé are sidelined.
  • Luuk de Jong and Hatem Ben Arfa are doubts and will face late fitness tests.

Prediction

  • Arsenal have won their last 3 games in all competitions and are looking to end the season on a high. The Gunners need to win all of their remaining games to secure a Champions League berth, especially with Everton hot on their heels.
  • Newcastle are on a disastrous run of form and appear to have their minds set on the summer rather. The Magpies have lost 5 of their last 6 games at the Emirates and they're showing little signs that they'll win here.
  • The Gunners have enough quality in depth to secure all 3 points and should do so comprehensively.

  • thank you so much Ben Mcaleer :) please keep it up...

  • i think arsenal could either have a really convincing win like 4-0 4-1 etc, or have a really poor game and get a scrappy win or a draw like 2-2 or 2-1 etc. my prediction however stands at 4-1

  • I am Man UTD fan wanting arsenal to win. You guys deserve TOP 4 over Everton.

  • Arsenal won Newcastle 3-0

  • Newcastle are in terrible form. It's time for Podolski to score his first hattrick with the gun on his chest. I'm sick of his braces :D

  • Big game for Arsenal NC May be in bad form but they always give AFC a got game
