Poor Refereeing. PSG should have never won the match, they were virtually poor and Etienne played much better football even with lesser possession which they had to contend with through out the match. Ibra should have been sent off for the late challenge which he committed on hamouma. A dubious penalty award earned PSG three points from the match, etienne at least deserve a point or even three from the match. Another example which clearly reflects how the referee's are biased towards the top side in the league
@Cesc04 The penalty is as arguable as the two penalties conceded by van der wiel lately with PSG. Clément clearly moves towards the ball, and when I read that according to you "Etienne played much better football" than PSG I wonder who is biased here...
Edinson Cavani is 1 of the most potent strikers in the world when played in the correct position (the central striker of a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3) yet is constantly played out wide. I don't get it, especially when the main striker is 33. He likely wont move to Arsenal in this window, unfortunately, but he needs to get out of Paris as soon as possible. He's wasted there. I'm not the biggest fan of Laurent Blanc either, I think this is like Pellegrini at Man City, you'd have to be a diabolical manager to make them any less than title challengers in their respective league.
@SteveHyland I'm sometimes glad that foreigners don't watch our Ligue 1 that often, that means Cavani will still be sold for a nice amount of money. Edi had many opportunities to prove with worth when Ibra was injured, and he was just not good enough... at least not good enough to move a 33-year old striker named Ibrahimovic on the bench for sure.
@SteveHyland Yes you're right. Though don't forget Cavani makes 10m€/year after taxes and he is part of the starting squad. He has chances, yesterday he hit the crossbar. Also Zlatan is constantly dropping down to the middle and playing like a n°10, even more nowadays he's feeling the years.
Blanc is not a good coach meaning that he won't make them play better than their respective individual levels combined. To me a good coach is making the team play at a superior level than they are expected to play. Worse, I think sometimes he's a handicap in crisis situation by coaching too conservative.
