Team News
Marseille
Lorient
- Dimitri Payet has seen his two-game ban reduced to only one match on appeal by the French National Olympic Committee, which means that he will be available this weekend.
- Abdel Barrada has resumed training with the team this week following a groin injury but still lacks match fitness, while full-backs Benjamin Mendy and Brice Dja Djédjé should both overcome respective muscular problems in time to feature. As should winger André Ayew.
- Marcelo Bielsa will have to decide whether to maintain his controversial 3-3-3-1 tactic against Lorient's possible 4-4-2 formation, which has made his side appear highly uncomfortable of late.
- A series of poor performances has led Sylvain Ripoll to ask for youth team boss Franck Haise's help until the end of the season, and he will assist him in the fight against relegation.
- Les Merlus will travel to Marseille without the injured quartet of key men Mathieu Coutadeur, Wesley Lautoa, Raphaël Guerreiro and Benjamin Jeannot, whose season might be over with a knee injury picked up at the weekend.
- Ripoll has often field a 4-2-3-1 formation against stronger sides this season but may be inclined to keep his well-known 4-4-2 formation here, considering Marseille's struggles against a two-man front line at present.
As i expected..just kidding. wtf
good job Marseille i hope u will go in France 2 Ligue
WTF are Marseille doing!!!
@Murgen Lemme know when u fig it out, coz I cant make sense of it either!
@Murgen it's a laughing game, crosses are awfull, they won't seem to be scoring a single goal in this one.not one good thing for marcelo bielsa to take to half time
@Murgen losing and sucking, 0% finishing quality, 0% ability do create simple scoring chances, can only do anything with long passes and 0 defensive capability. possession is useless when u don't know what to do with it
worst team in france, just better than lens,if you'd just start seeing ligue 1 since january you'd think they would be fighting for maintanence, ,well last time i betted on them. interesting to see if they'll finish in the european spots, i don't think so judging by how bordeux and saint ettiene seem better.
This is the match that will put Marseille back in top form.
Despite Marseille's bad form, Lorient is in even worse shape losing/tieing to some really bad teams! 3-0 Marseille on this must win game for them
Easy Marseille win
Marseille - Lorient 3-0
