Chelsea
QPR
- Diego Costa should be back in the Chelsea starting lineup this weekend after having trained this week, while reports suggest Ramires will also be available.
- That will mean Didier Drogba, who has scored 3 goals in 3 appearances in Costa's absence, dropping to the bench.
- Cesar Azpilicueta serves the final game of his 3-match suspension while Branislav Ivanovic returns after serving his ban in midweek.
- Harry Redknapp could be tempted to field the same starting eleven as he did in the win over Aston Villa on Monday.
- However, against league leaders Chelsea he will probably put an extra man in midfield and leave a long striker up front.
- Charlie Austin will hope to keep his place but Bobby Zamora will be another option there.
I see chelsea losing a point today no matter what
@owoahene I don't.
@owoahene oh really
2-0 Is always a good preview for Chelsea's games, right? :)
QPR may have some confidence after the win against Villa, but Chelsea at the bridge will be a tough ask. Think Vargas could cause us some problems, so im not too sure on the clean sheet. 4-1 Chelsea.
I don't see Costa playing this match. There's no need to. Chelsea can put anyone up front in a false 9 if need-be and still have enough chances to win easily at home to QPR. The earliest I see Costa coming back is against Maribor. Whether he plays or not, I can only see a big Chelsea win. I doubt they'll concede either so gonna predict (based on Drogba playing not Costa) 3-0 with Fabregas MotM cos he's been superb thus far. We taught him well. ;-)
@SteveHyland Costa will play against QPHAHAHA and rest vs Maribor for Drogba to step in then play against Loserpool on the weekend
@SteveHyland Mourinho said Costa will play this game.
@Excalibur- Ah right. I don't see the point tbh cos his injury is the type that would/will go away with a decent period of rest which he wont get playing Saturday. He's only just returned to training this week. Oh well. I'd expect Chelsea to beat QPR, Maribor AND Liverpool without Costa anyway.
5-1 chelsea, Costa hat-trick
Lets get real its QPR and if costa is fit for this match, im assuming this is gonna be a big win 3-0 or 4-1, hazard motm
