Team News
Tottenham
Everton
- The likes of Townsend, Adebayor, Rose, Chadli and Capoue will all be assessed prior to kick off due to minor injuries, while Younes Kaboul missed out last weekend for personal reasons and it remains to be seen whether he will be back in contention.
- Kyle Naughton is still suspended so the return of Kyle Walker can't come soon enough, with the right-back continuing to step up his return to full fitness.
- Harry Kane didn't start in midweek, which is perhaps an indicator that he will do so once again on Sunday, while Benjamin Stambouli will hope to come into the manager's thinking after a strong showing on Thursday.
- Gareth Barry is making good progress in his recovery from injury but this game is likely to come too soon for him, so the fact that James McCarthy was forced off in midweek with a hamstring injury is a worry.
- Leon Osman may be forced to play in a deeper role in midfield alongside Muhamed Besic if the Ireland international is not fit to feature.
- Elsewhere Roberto Martinez will hope to have Leighton Baines back available but changes from an impressive result in Wolfsburg may be kept to minimum.
How can it be handball? Fazio has to raise his arms to jump to head the ball. The ball hit Lukaku's head and rebounded on Fazio's arm, with no time for Fazio to react. Not intentional handball and Michael Oliver did not see it anyway. Sounds a bit like sour grapes from an Everton supporter.
@kevinreed150 michael oliver :D hahahahahaha hes a joke
who can tell me the meaning of <Knockin' On Heaven's Door>,a song of Bob Dylan。 someone say this song describe a police's dying;someone say this is a song about Pat Garrett's betrayal. Which one is the right answer?can you tell me? thanks very much!
great player this Besic
Roberto Martinez has the same problem as Wenger does when it comes to tactics which is the aversion to change the ultra-offensive game plan even when it's obvious after 20 minutes it's going to degenerate into a match the antithesis of purist, slick football. Both managers should be applauded for having the philosophy they do but the truth is the most successful managers are those who can adapt their method to suit the need(s). Chelsea will in all likelihood win the league this year and have won games playing smooth, passing football but have also won games playing dirty, attritional football. Arsenal and Everton are unable to consistently win ugly. That doesn't win league titles. As soon as this game turned into a rough affair, Spurs new they were odds-on to win.
Tottenham are only getting results when they play rough and dirty, if i was a fan i'd be worried
Well played
Floppenham again gets lucky with the referee. Clear handball...
@El_Duderino Save the tears. lmao
Everton will win 2-1
For example, yesterday Rating Wasilewski from Leicester was 8.4, despite three missed the ball. Ranking players when have missed Scoring draw not declining. Correct this, please.
whoscored, note, when missed goals stops falling rating players, in team which missed the goal. As a result, now permanently overstated rating defenders. Correct this, please.
@zenst I agree, it falisfies how defenders actually performed.
I love you WHOSCORED!!!
