i want to know where the referee got 9 minutes from, Taylor was down for longer in the Newcastle game and they only got 5 minutes added on, there weren't enough stoppages to warrant 9 minutes added on
@JoeB91- For sure there's no consistency from refs in pretty much any aspect and half the time I think they've just plucked a number from the air within the reasonable allotment (3 to 6 minutes) but even if there were an extra 90 minutes, we should've stopped a 10-man team from scoring. We kind of deserved to concede after the game we played. I just wish we'd score late winners in the games we dominate (99% of home games in other words).
@JoeB91 Skrtel was down for 6 mins alone at the start of he 2nd half, Welbeck took a blow to the head too plus Giroud's goal Borini's red card, 9 minutes was about right
@hasan- I think Wenger and Podolski don't see eye to eye. There's no footballing reason why he has played so little this season when Wenger himself calls him the best finisher at the club. Sure, his link up play isn't great and doesn't have the close control of the other players but there are some occasions where he deserves to start but hasn't.
@Nemeth like against anderlect and newcastle and many others over his reign. wenger hasnt got the nouse to shut a game out & protect a lead. a good manager would have that drilled into his players. like mr mourinio has done for yrs, whom i would call a good manager. its a main tactic required in a team to progress in knockout cups especially to win them.that is why arsenal have minimal trophy collection & chelsea have a few more.
@psmartp- You can't not call Wenger a good manager or even a great one. You don't fluke 3 league titles. He revolutionised football in this country. Every team until a few years into Wenger's reign were playing typical English (crap) football. Not only did he change that but he also introduced nutrition as not only a respectable but important part of the game. Players from the best English teams were still going to the pub and eating fish 'n' chips. The vast majority of the English football fraternity laughed at him but both have been adopted by every team not only in the prem but the championship too. I would say however while Wenger is a great ATTACKING manager, he is a poor DEFENSIVE one whereas Mourinho isn't as good an attacking manager but a better defensive one therefore more balanced. Well balanced managers, just like teams are often the most successful and that's the type of manager we need.
@Nemeth because wenger dosnt put as much thought into the defensive aspects of the game as he should have over his reign. hes let the fans down in that respect. all them goals they scored over the yrs have counted for nothing after 10 yrs. because your manager isnt the full package tactically. the chairman should bring this subject up at the agm
@psmartp- The board wont do jack because they only care about Arsenal the business. It was brought up by many a fan at the AGM why didn't we bring in a central defender after Vermaelen's departure and why didn't we buy an all-out defensive midfielder. No sufficient answer was given. Any hope of winning the title has realistically gone and not bringing in those 2 players goes a long way to explaining why. Wenger, however, is still defensively inept. He always has been in truth but inherited Dixon-Keown-Adams-Winterburn and also managed to cobble together Lauren-Kolo-Campbell-Cole. There were strong characters in both defences who pretty much ignored Wenger's calls to advance in exchange for defensive stability. I like the personnel of Debuchy-Mertesacker-Koscielny-Gibbs but there isn't 1 character in the quartet who would stick 2 fingers up and make the defence sit deeper as well as bellow at the full backs if they were too advanced even if it made us solid.
@drewisdrew in correct, he quite clever. the problem is his stubborness to his offensive style, and maybe arrogance towards steve bould and his defensive ideas.this is probly way bould hates his gutts & sits next to him saying nowt during a match because its a waste of his breath trying to put his defensive thoughts across
@TacticalMastermind loool what you saying? every player has some kind of bio-chip that's automatically connected to some whoscored data system? i'm quite sure someone has to write down the stats before the computer can calculate the ratings.
@koziol.mutant it just shows that all this effort to tell the world how many Km he runs and the longest dribble dribbled is not worth reading. good stats mean sweet FA if your team is gona switch off in the last minute to forfeit their hard fought lead
same silly tactics again. Liverpool lef-hand side is joke and Arsenal played maybe 3 times that side and got 2 good crosses and one corner, instead of forcing all that side they force down the right..... so silly
@Roorck on the contrary my friend, these 2 teams r very predictable to plan tactics against. u have to play the ugly side of the game from the off and hope the ref will be in a lenient mood, (which he probly will be as wenger has probly critised him in the past over a defeat). id give wenger nowt just to piss him off if i was a ref.(which is why i work in a factory mite i add)
It appears that the Liverpool coaching, this fitting for the team and nitido the team performance improves after Lambert's output as a reference in the attack, I think we have a good chance of seeing a liverpool showing a good football tomorrow, Coutinho looks like coming back your best, foresee a difficult game for both teams tomorrow, my bet here would be a mark both for this game, but I think that Liverpool win or draw tomorrow. Good luck to all of an admired Premier League Brazilian
I think this would be our best bet, giroud(FW), poldi(AML), cazorla(AMC), welback(DM), sanchez(AMR), flamini(DM), debauchy, monreal, per, gibbs, szczesny. With subs as chambers(DM), campbell and sanogo(FW).
looks like oxlade may miss out due to injury we r super thin in CM rite now will like to see Podolski Giroud Sanchez play up front with welbeck on de bench
I would prefer if Wenger played Debuchy at CB and Chambers at RB. Why?
I know that Debuchy is a natural RB, and Chambers is a CB; but Chambers and BFG both lack pace and acceleration. And Liverpool's new 3-4-3 / 5-3-2 formation relies on pace from Sterling and Markovic. If Debuchy plays next to BFG he can use his recovery pace to bail out BFG or his full backs. He played well vs Newcastle in that position, similar in style to Koscielny but not as good.
It's too much to ask we can avenge last season's mauling at Anfield but an almost as big a win would be sweet enough. We've had a bad season but Liverpool have had a worse one so I expect us to win. Barring last season's game at Anfield, we've had the wood over Liverpool for the last few seasons. It's too much to ask Wenger to keep the defence tight to avoid counter attacking opportunities so Liverpool will likely score. I just think we'll score more. 3-1 to Arsenal; Welbeck, Sanchez and Giroud the scorers and Sanchez MotM for a change, :-p
90+6" for skrtel, what a bloody fukin result,,
Excelent prediction! Congratulations!

@Titou14 plus 5 subs
Why wenger not let poldi play. Welback was struggling.
@hasan- I think Wenger and Podolski don't see eye to eye. There's no footballing reason why he has played so little this season when Wenger himself calls him the best finisher at the club. Sure, his link up play isn't great and doesn't have the close control of the other players but there are some occasions where he deserves to start but hasn't.
we cant defend when leading against big teams (like against City)
@Nemeth like against anderlect and newcastle and many others over his reign. wenger hasnt got the nouse to shut a game out & protect a lead. a good manager would have that drilled into his players. like mr mourinio has done for yrs, whom i would call a good manager. its a main tactic required in a team to progress in knockout cups especially to win them.that is why arsenal have minimal trophy collection & chelsea have a few more.

We didn't deserve the 3 points, but still concdeding so late on is a pss take
So whoscored prediction 2-2 comes true !!!
but why did we left Skrtel undefended? he is the biggest threat when it comes to headers...

Wenger is so stupid!!
7 defender vs 10 liverpool player, still can't win this.
lol 2 -2 nice work predicting that game whoscored
11 - 1 odds to
Wenger Out !!
Can whoever is doing the ratings above watch the game?
@newoxet It's based on stats, it's not subjective.
@TacticalMastermind loool what you saying? every player has some kind of bio-chip that's automatically connected to some whoscored data system? i'm quite sure someone has to write down the stats before the computer can calculate the ratings.
@thedanielgrant Image Processing !! Get used to this word...
@newoxet can be the case that only stats count not the impression
@koziol.mutant it just shows that all this effort to tell the world how many Km he runs and the longest dribble dribbled is not worth reading. good stats mean sweet FA if your team is gona switch off in the last minute to forfeit their hard fought lead
Please substitute flamini, he is our last uninjuried DM. We can not have a red card today.
out: Flamini, Welbeck in: Podolski, Walcott
@Nemeth monreal for flamini. Podolski for Welback,
ALSO looking from the pitch Wellbeck is on the left side and Sanchez on right more often than not:)
Skrtel is so bad...no Lovren as his alibi today...
left-hand side of LIverpool from Arsenal attacking perspective
same silly tactics again. Liverpool lef-hand side is joke and Arsenal played maybe 3 times that side and got 2 good crosses and one corner, instead of forcing all that side they force down the right..... so silly
Liverpool 6 - 1 Arsenal gg race for fourth place over
if it was possible for both of these teams to lose this game i would bet on it.
Arsenal with only 1 defensive midfielder playing away will surely lose this game!!
1-1,1-2
Arsenal 2-1, you can't be competitive against top 5 with K. Toure in defence, he is utter joke
@koziol.mutant after alexis sanchez he's probably the best player on the pitch.
@thedanielgrant ye he appears to be arriving at a decent level of form now. only took him 3 seasons!!!!!!!!
I guess this is unpredictable game, very difficult determine a favorite in this game. But I wish to Arsenal only win
3:2

0-3 I think. Motm wellbeck score twice...
@pirvan.floringabriel ha nice preminition!!!! not
0-3
@goonergunner14 as above to u aswell
I think this would be our best bet, giroud(FW), poldi(AML), cazorla(AMC), welback(DM), sanchez(AMR), flamini(DM), debauchy, monreal, per, gibbs, szczesny. With subs as chambers(DM), campbell and sanogo(FW).
@hasanyour best bet is to sack wenger now b4 its to late and get pulis in to instil some broader tactics and toughness.
looks like oxlade may miss out due to injury we r super thin in CM rite now will like to see Podolski Giroud Sanchez play up front with welbeck on de bench
