@pierreleroix
I have the same problem. It has something to do with page zoom most likely. I keep my default at 90% and have to move it to 100% or greater to see the away subs properly.
These games are tailor made for Arsenal. The fluid movement, the speed, the quality on the ball was a joy to watch. Hull didn't press to start with they were wary of the speed that Arsenal play with. The timings of the passes and space created by the outfield players for each other is fantastic. The 2nd goal is excellent from a technical viewpoint. Giroud's movement on Cazorla touch is simple yet clever, pulls McShane out of position which allows Ramsey to make his run into the space the pass is a worldy, Ramsey's 1st touch to control the 2nd to set and finish (with a bit of luck) is fantastic.
Hull are miles away from Arsenal but responded well in the 2nd half. Introduction of Meyler in the 2nd half, did allow Hull to get further up the pitch but a team that relies on their crossing, only 4/20 were successful. Far too easy for Koscieny and co to deal with. Good result for the Gunners who are looking good to finish 2nd. Hull have a massive game on Saturday @ home to Burnley.
@88Albanese I am aware thatHull scored from cross in the 2nd half and Aluko squandered agree at chance in the first half at0-0 but they had good opportunities in the 2nd half to put decent balls in the box for forward players to attack (Meyler in 2nd half squandered a low across by playing playing ball behind N'Doye instead of playing infront of him in 6 yard box, N'Doye initiated run as well)
Should have been 2 penalties and I think the GK may have handled he ball outside of the box.
Hull did well to keep the score down.
And that Özil back heel flick ..... \_/ :O
@milad1987- We always have a good 2nd half of the season, the problem is it alwaf. It's fine playing well when the title is all but out of reach but we never play well when winning the title is still a real possibility. It'll be interesting to see how we start next season, if we're well behind at Christmas again then it's a chronic problem and a managerial change is needed. Hopefully not though!
@What4 Don't get me wrong, Hazard is a fine player, but Sanchez is undescribable.
I guess it would thus have been quite silly to anoint him POTY. Need to invent an award for that level of quality.
Cazorla's passing has been ridiculous, what do they feed midfielders in Spain? I fully expect Livermore to be taken off at half time or be sent off if he stays on. Thoroughly outclassed & getting nowhere near making a legal tackle on our midfield, ditto for Tom "he's got everything" Huddlestone. N'Doye has had a shocking first half too.
Hull probably need 4 points to survive, or to be sure, the way it's shaping up. They won't be unaware that they're playing Burnley at home next, but have tough games after that.
I would expect Bruce would see a draw is acceptable, but I don't think they can. 0-1.
I'm not touching this one... all fingers point to a Gunner victory here but I think they'll have a lot more trouble than most people think. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Hull pulls out a draw
@HandofGod I agree, 100%. Arsenal is a far better team than Liverpool, but they have one game in hand (apart from this one) on United, and Hull is playing for their lives here. So the hosts might pick some points today after all.
Hull have given us a few good games in the past. Bruce seems to have installed a no fear attitude in his players. I do think, however, we'll have too much quality in attack. I'll go with 2-0, Cazorla MotM.
@goonergunner- Firstly it's actually Opta that provide information to WhoScored, secondly we haven't played 4-1-4-1 since Coquelin was brought in. Although Francis sits giving the illusion of a 4-1-4-1 when attacking, he and Cazorla start alongside each other, it's just that Santi is given the freedom to go forward as is typical of the box-to-box midfielder in Wenger's favoured 2-1 midfield formation. He is often receiving the ball deep in our own half and in defence is back there too (even making tackles now!). We did play a genuine 4-1-4-1 earlier in the season, which was disastrous, but now we've reverted back to 4-2-3-1 with Oezil, a genuine number 10, starting regularly. The 3 behind Giroud isn't actually a genuine 3 with both Sanchez and Ramsey coming in but the formation acts as their starting positions and all our attackers are given licence to roam. It often leaves us with no genuine width or an out ball, but we're winning (barring against Chelsea) so it's unlikely to change.
@rafidarts- We didn't, that was actually more of a 3 across midfield with Cazorla and Ramsey either side of Coquelin in the dead centre. You saw how deep both Ramsey and Cazorla were the majority of the game. Aaron actually went too far forward and was told to get back. Whenever there are box to box players playing alongside a sitter, it gives the illusion of a 1-2 midfield formation but actually in defence we are 2-1 and in the City game were flat 3 in midfield.
@SteveHyland No genuine width, indeed. Seems like Wenger isn't big on wing play, even when the circumstances beg for it. Seems to me that Arsenal wingers perform better once they've left the club.
@mancrickler- Yep and it's even stranger given that having genuine width would/does force full-backs out further and therefore create more space for those in the middle of the park to play balls into and through. Wenger teams, historically, have been all about midfield play yet, as you say, he seems reluctant. Look at what Bayern do when Robbery are playing. We aren't that good overall, granted, but Cazorla and Oezil with space & time will be too good for most to handle.
@SteveHyland It's not strange when you consider Wenger's always had a little fetish for a wide playmaker, from the days of Pires to Hleb to Arshavin to Nasri to Santi hell even Wilshere/Ozil/Ramsey have all had stints out there too.
@Titou14 I think there's a huge difference between "number 10 type" playing on the wing (Ozil), inverted types who cut in 15 meters short of the goal line (Pires), and then ACTUAL WINGERS. Good wingers play with pace and control all the way to the by-line, and then turn and run directly into the side of Chelsea's Blue Wall. When wingers like Neymar or Suarez do this, it multiplies the number of angles each defender is forced to consider. Defenders end up getting turned around. This creates new spaces and split-seconds for central attackers to breach Chelsea's Blue Wall. I don't think shoving Hleb or Ramsey towards the touch line is effective against big blue walls. Not at all.
away team subs are missing for me? bug fix?
@pierreleroix I have the same problem. It has something to do with page zoom most likely. I keep my default at 90% and have to move it to 100% or greater to see the away subs properly.
@spacesh1p heh> I am at 90% myself.thanks

That was some save from Chester
I wish the best for everyone of the gunners, they have shown the real spirit since the beginning of the season, I love Arsenal. Arsenal is the best.

Sanchez. The TRUE EPL POTY.
@mt3 The gulf between Sanchez and Hazard was embarassingly displayed in this round of fixtures.
@What4 Don't get me wrong, Hazard is a fine player, but Sanchez is undescribable. I guess it would thus have been quite silly to anoint him POTY. Need to invent an award for that level of quality.

We take second best this season! COUG!
@albgunn 2nd place trophy!
Sanchez should have + 1 tackle
Cazorla's passing and giroud's off ball movement has been great
@MiguelSuave Good eye. Strikers nowadays work best as decoys rather than finishers. The new era.
They must make aminimum league in 2015 to give it to arsenal,really another invisibles in 2015
as a leicrster fan i hope arsenal walk this.
@foxeerod you're in safe hands
@foxeerod Amen.

Go Roquelin, Man of Rock
@HellKitchen Here is a chant for him: to the tune of Queen, co quelling will rock you, he will, he will rock you

Arsenal lineup is 4-1-4-1, @whoscored do you watch football games?
@goonergunner- Firstly it's actually Opta that provide information to WhoScored, secondly we haven't played 4-1-4-1 since Coquelin was brought in. @SteveHyland *true winger types, like Gervinho or Vela

@Titou14- I meant it's strange Wenger doesn't use true wingers as opposed to it's strange seeing him do so.
