Borussia M.Gladbach
Wolfsburg
- Roel Brouwers will replace the injured Martin Stranzl at centre-back again.
- Oscar Wendt and Julian Korb compete for a spot in the back four.
- On the left wing, Fabian Johnson and Thorgan Hazard both have a chance of starting.
- Vierinha, Christian Träsch and Sebastian Jung all have a chance of starting at right-back.
- Maximilian Arnold could replace the injured Kevin De Bruyne in central attacking midfield.
- Ivan Perisic is fully fit again and could start instead of André Schürrle on the left wing.
Purely judging by the stats, that looked like a deserved win for BMG. A 2nd placed finish is still on for them.
Bayern are championssssss
Does this result mean Bayern have won the league?
@bradley.fcb Yes, it does
Zero shots on goal for Wolfsburg after 75 min. Embarrassing...
@neumi17- And zero on target the whole game.
Borussia M.Gladbach - Wolfsburg 3-1
Borussia M.Gladbach - Wolfsburg 1:2
this would be a close game in mind. Wolfs is without both play making machines Bruyne and Schurrle. small win for home team or draw 1:0, 0:0
Gotta go for a draw here. Neither team are playing particularly well atm but not bad enough for the other team to get a win imo. I'll say 2-2 with Hermann, who has been the 1 bright spot for the Foals in recent weeks, MotM.
@SteveHyland So Gladbach aint playing well? Don't know what's your definition of playing well, but sure as hell it isn't mine! I'm a fan since 1995 and I've never ever seen better Football ;) 2-0 for BMG
@tintohill- Aren't playing "particularly" well. It's not the same as playing badly. If you were playing well (ie the sum of it's parts), you'd have beat or at the very least outplayed a mediocre Frankfurt team last week- which you didn't. A few results have gone in BMG's favour in recent weeks largely due to opposition weaknesses- Dortmund's chaotic defending (probably because every single person in the squad and staff are waiting for the season to end), Hoffenheim's wastefulness and Bayern playing their worst home game of the season and that has made BMG's 'form' look better on paper than it has on the pitch. While there are quality players on the pitch, there's always a chance of a win but you likely wont get many gifts from Wolfsburg like you haven't in the last few league games.
