@hindy Atleti were mostly restriced to shots from distance, they didn't really threaten that much. The shots they did take weren't particularly good. Feghouli's near head was probably the best chance of the second half but he didn't touch the ball so you won't see that stat on here. Also Valencia were 3-0 early on, logically speaking there is no need to attack furher and hold on to the lead instead, which Valencia did excellently. Valencia were deserved winners and I don't think the scoreline flatters them.
@chinna Because Siquera is a regular penalty taker.
Perhaps it's time for Whoscored to make an article about Nuno Espirito Santo. Valencia is doing great and they didn't even bought some really big names.
@hindy Rodrigo is an awesome player but no, he's not a big name. As for Negredo, I believe he hasn't make a single appearance so how would he be part of Valencia's great campaign start?
Atletico win; Am basing this assumption on the fact that Atletico Madrid players always show up in big matches (example Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona...etc). Valencia will not even get a single point unless a player from Atletico was sent off
@flylo_65 well Atletico Madrid this season has more depth in the attacking midfield and forward positions, also remember that we are still at the beginning of the season because teams that don't have "much" depth collapse at the end of the season or after they get so many injuries
yeah dude, without Courtois and Costa that's not the same...
Own goal, fail penalty, and red card at the end, Atletico totally not effective on this match
Where's Alves dribble?
diego alves , this guy has stopped more than half the penalties he has faced , amazing !!
i told you Atletico will get a red card ..
Look at shots taken and shots on target. Look at the score. try to tell me football is fair.

@hindy I think you started watching football recently. Its not the number of shots but the quality of shots and the build up that matters.
@rkmiitm U DON'T SAY? Do you think the fact that Siqueira is a bad penalty taker and Miranda scored an own-goal means Valencia are so good?
@hindy when you world class player's like koke and mandzukic on pitch, why you let squiera take the penalty.
Loooooooool,,,, Valencia score 3 goals from 2 shots on target ...
Just like the game against Celta Vigo, Atleti is feeling the strains of the Champions League game.
What the it's not even half time.
Perhaps it's time for Whoscored to make an article about Nuno Espirito Santo. Valencia is doing great and they didn't even bought some really big names.
@libero Right, because Negredo and Rodrigo are not big names...
@hindy Rodrigo is an awesome player but no, he's not a big name. As for Negredo, I believe he hasn't make a single appearance so how would he be part of Valencia's great campaign start?
@hindy Yeah, especially Negredo was such an importing factor so far. His voice really makes the difference on the stands.
@El_Duderino jeśli wam strzeli w tym sezonie mniej niż 15 bramek to wtedy pogadamy...
@El_Duderino If he scores less than 15 goals this season for VCF then you'll have a point
@libero yeah, but they bought lot of good players like Rodrigo, Mustafi and Otamendi ..
@ghoraaa yes, ghoraa. when I said big names I meant 'not much known', I never said they weren't good ;)
@libero *much more known
Sub Miranda.
@Villa immediately
Hope to see Oblak more in the future now.
Finally! My team does something i can brag about :D
am here to admit that am an idiot !!! 3-0 for Valencia in the first 13 minutes WOW
@smb26 if you admit it you're forgiven. So many guys are idiots without even knowing it or admitting it.
Shots on target VCF 1-1 ATL Score 2-0 ok.
@hindy miranda with own goal explains it
@hindy and now it 3-0 ..
Atletico will get a red card ..
Draw
3-1
@Sinaj TOLD YA
3-2 for Valencia .. (i hope)
Still can be, but unlikely :D
@El_Duderino damn i'm only 1 goal shy .. :D
@El_Duderino hahahaa, as long as Valencia win, i don't care what the scoreline are gonna be
0-1,,1-2,,0-2,,,1-3
@BOLAT_1976 more to be continued ???
1-1 probably
Arda TURAN!
HT 1-1, FT 1-2 Atletico win. Alcacer and Griezmann to score.
Atletico win; Am basing this assumption on the fact that Atletico Madrid players always show up in big matches (example Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona...etc). Valencia will not even get a single point unless a player from Atletico was sent off
@smb26 Not sure it will be that easy, the Champs league game must have been energy sapping.
