Wow, Nolito got MOTM!
Bad luck to Celta. They deserved atleast a draw. That poor referee didn't see the clear penalty. Alvarez and Larrivey were poor too.
looking to the next game
My comment prediction was almost right, except scoreline doubled lol
How is Hernández not good enough for Man Utd yet good enough for Real Madrid?
@lLuke Real signed Chicharito from Man U because he was good enough for Man U. Both Man U and Real have not played him in the first team continously, so it can't be said as he was a success at one place and a failure at another. He made huge impact as a super sub for Man U, that is what exactly he is doing at Real. Whether he can keep this performance up and dislodge Benzema for the first 11 is a different matter.
@lLuke Different league different style.. I don't think Ronaldinho was gonna be as good as he was in Barcelona had he transferred to Man. United..
I hope EPL fans are watching this game. This Celta is an amazing team. Very technically gifted
@blitz I am sorry, but I get bored when I watch EPL most of the time as there is not much link up play, intelligent moves or technical abilities on the ball. The presence of Real and Barca help as it makes other teams competent although they might lose 6-1 at times. But most of the cricket score lines that Barca and Real get don't tell the real story. These two great attacking teams (best 3 in the world along with bayern) can quickly turn a respectable score line of 2-1 or 3-2 into 4-1 or 5-2 respectively. You need to play well for 90 mins against these teams, if you play great for 80 mins, you can still lose for 4-2.
@blitz EPL doesn't care about being technically gifted, it has other priorities...
@blitz Rayo Vallecano, Celta, Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal ... La Liga is not about Real and Barca only
Is Pepe really upfront?
@Josh_22 Pepe replaced Chica for more defense..
@Macchonk Fair enough, usually when there's a change n formation WH show it so I was a bit confused
@Josh_22 there is no substitution
Regardless, if RM win this match they have still lost the league. I extremely doubt they can beat sevilla 3 days after the UCL and three day before the 2nd leg.
@Beastador Valencia
@Beastador Barcelona still have to play Atleti at the Vincente Calderon Stadium. Real have two diffucult games left - against Sevilla and Valencia both away. It's going to be interesting until the end.
@JohnnyOrphan against Valencia in Bernabaeu
@JohnnyOrphan Atletico bends backward against them. You think Simeone is gonna stop Barcelona o Real Madrid wins the title!? Heh No. They will score an own goal to stop Real Madrid becoming champions.
With so many shots, you'd think Celta would have more goals. Accuracy is something they need to work on, it's killing them.
@LLCAN They are a very creative, very tricky team. They just need some finishers.
Nolito! !
Celta can steal heart of an outside observer :)
Larrivey is running out of shirts, lol.
The amount of Barcelona fans on Real Madrid match pages is too damn high.
@MaltheKL that my friend is a very logical statement given the circumstances. No sarcasm just plain truth.
@MaltheKL that explains your down votes
@MaltheKL What do you expect? Real and Barcelona are 1st and 2nd with only two points difference.. As Barcelona fan, I'm watching the game wishing Madrid to lose, and I'm sure many Madridistas do too..
@MaltheKL And the opposite, to be fair.
@MaltheKL They're just trolls, most Barca fans are older than 11.
@HalaMadrid12 Indeed, and most RM fans are younger than 11
What's wrong with that, they're just following a match that directly influences the future of their own team's season. They have higher stakes in this match than Celta fans, lol.
@Lulzovich Doesn't mean they have to spam "Penaldo" in every single comment on the page.
Damn, you have to admit that James statistics are quite aqmazing when you consider number of appearances and position on the field. 24 apps 11 goals 10 assists now
@Zootball 15 of those goals/assists came in games that RM won by 3 or more goals, so most of them were actually quite useless - fact.
@hindy you are making shi..t up bro, his goals and assists are actually important, in fact when he was Injured Madrid wasn't winning. Dont pull info from your a.ss
@hindy Wow, assist are useless if you score 3 goals? Troll logic.
@HalaMadrid12 What he is trying to say is it's not a game changing stats. It's easier to score a team that is already losing by three or more because usually they have given up...
@Macchonk Did you read the name of the person you replied to? How can he understand logic?
I would have saved the 1st goal by Nolito, in the replay you could see casillas watching the ball roll past him. What a clown. El Penaldo missed an open goal, and he couldn't finish a 1 on 1. Did he not just see 13 minutes before he hit the post what to do to get a rebound?
@Beastador Idiot detected
@Beastador I don't think Cassillas is good enough to be a Real Madrid keeper any more. He's still decent but to be the best you must have the best, Real should go in for De Gea this summer. His contract runs out in 12 months so he shouldn't be too expensive.
@Beastador He did miss an empty goal but he had to shoot with his left foot and the angle made it difficult. Previously there was offside though. Also he didn't make the 1 on 1 but well, bad luck, ball hit the post. Unlike the 2nd goal that Celta scored, the ball didn't bounce to him. Why so much hate, youngfellow?
Take off Ilarramendi and bring on Jese switch a 4-3-3. Ilarramendi can't anchor worth a damn, I don't get it. At Sociedad he was quality he was brought in as a natural replacement for the aging Alonso but hasn't lived up to the hype. We desperately need a good defensive midfielder can't wait for Casemiro to come back that kid has talent.
@HalaMadrid12 I happened to see Bayern vs Porto 2nd leg, Casemiro there was quite terrible, like rest of Porto. Losing lot of duels and balls in the middle of the field. I know he has ha fine games this year, but I am not yet convinced by him. Don't know though, if it is worth regarding that game. But these are just my few cents.
@Exti Porto use a 4-5-1 He was the loan defensive midfielder against Bayern, i honestly don't blame him.
@HalaMadrid12 yeah i totally agree casemiro is alot better than illaramendi casemiro is a ball winner and illara just looks lost on the field
4 shota 3 goals and one hits the post all we have to do is improve our defense becaus we cant afford to defend like this against juventus
@patricia.singh.14 Couldn't agree more.
RM 2 shot 2 goal .. what an accuracy!
Celta vs Real Madrid is more entertaining than Arsenal vs Chelsea lmao
@bradley.fcb PL is sooooo overrated.
@Servus To be fair Arsenal are a good team. It's just Mourihno has boring tactics. Every big match he plays for 1-0 win or 0-0, he is good for Chelsea but not good for the PL.
Go celta <3
Come on celta...
RM ♥.
Is it me or does Illaramendi just look completely lost out their on the pitch?
@CrazyRed98 I wonder, how come he made those 4 tackles, indeed it was worse than playing 10 vs 11, he created the first goal and made some really awful tackles.
NOLITO EX BARÇA COME ONNN
Illarramendi over Lucas Silva??
This might end in a draw.
I don't see Real Madrid dropping points here... 1-3
RMD are capable of winning 1-4 if only converting their chances to goals.
Unless there is someone exhausted or injured, Ancelotti should field the best possible lineup. It is probably going to be Casillas,Marcelo,Ramos,Pepe,Carvajal,Isco,Kroos,Illara,James,Ronaldo,Chicharito. If Ancelotti opts for Ramos in midfield again instead of Illara then it will be Pepe and Varane in defence. This is a very difficult game and Celta are fierce rivals. They play with pace, good counters and intensity. Isco and James should find more space (compared to Atletico game) to create chances but Celta will also have chances and if we are to win this we need to convert our chances into goals. Ramos and Carvajal are on the edge of suspension and should pick up a yellow each so that they can reset it against Almeria, rest and be ready for the heavy schedule ahead.
sometimes people mix their feelings with reality. Barca fans support real madrid rivals more than they do for their team :) this is what seprates Real Madrid fans from Barca fans :) HALA MADRID
3-1 for sure
Hala Vigo!! Jk
if the ref is fair enough, Celta will gain at least one point at home. but if Penaldo show up, Real will win by a goal margin
@ambrose pessiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Hopefully 1:1
BBC Is Missing Now it's time for The JCC : James Chicharito and CRISTIANO !!!
@Logical True
Nolito ... orellana ... larrivey .. are the horrible triangle of celta .. I suppose that alvarez will be the man of the match
@Dr.Omar.Medicine.79 Maybe you didn't Mention Santi Mina As a good young player he scored 4 goals and One Assist , but the problem is there's a Hilarious difference between Real Madrid And Celta Vigo , this is why it's very difficult to Predict Alvarez as the man of the match !! I pick up James as MoM :)
Draw
Madrid gonna lose points here for sure!
@Zeeshan I agree
RM will fail here. Celta are a strong side who do not depend on penalties to win.
@Beastador true that
@Beastador we will see :)
@Mahdi yeah,,we will see cristiano diving. ;)
@two_six and scoring to disappoint some barca fans :D
0-3. The class and elegance of Real Madrid will win this. Hala Madrid!
I think 2-1 celta win
@destro567 and so it shall be
Real should still be riding the confidence high, so i see a hard fought win again, bit more convincing. 1-3 RM win.
@Peter_Griffin
Celta will definitely score, but Madrid's firepower will prove to be too much for them. 1-2 RM win.
I think it will be very difficult and tough game and will not ended until the the last second .. 1-1
@Dr.Omar.Medicine.79 I agree that it might be a tough game but i think we will scrape the win
lets see what Celta players have in their pockets for us :)
So we return after winning the derby.
