Bale needs to relax.. he is obviously pressing a bit to score goals with the absence of CR7.. He didnt have a bad game today just lacking in his finish.. but we'll need him to perform better in the coming big games.
When will Ancelloti understand resting and rotating. The game is already won. He should substitute now James/Isco who both before match were doubtful to start. Also Coentrao, Jese, Nacho needs to be given some min to make sure our bench strength is strong. If you don't have good bench strength then there is no plan b or plan c when you are on loosing side. Sure all European giants have been monitoring this situation with madrid and may take advantage when they meet us in Champions League at latter stages.
The absence of Ronaldo means less pace for our attack and one man less in the box. The presence of Illara though strengthens the defence, makes the team more balanced, probably with more posession and better passing in midfield. Bale will likely play on the left which i see as a good thing because his main dribble (pacing past the defender) is easier on the side of his strong foot. Isco will likely lead the way of taking the ball from midfield and bringing it to the opposition's box. Players should all be well rested and raring to play. Carvajal and Marcelo should make those runs forward to create danger and James should take more initiatives. Varane hasnt been at his best lately and i hope he and Ramos are solid at the back today. I expect Jese to take part at some point, especially if the game isnt going our way. This is not an easy match and hopefully the players are focused and clinical in front of goal.
Well, I predicted yesterday on whoscored that Bayern will be humiliated by Wolfsburg and my god they just didn't humiliated Bayern, they left whole world thinking is really Bayern a tough team? Their gameplay was simply better, Pep looks like he didn't have any plan to stop that coming just like game against Madrid in Champions League semi-final. With the riches of world class players and one of the best goalkeeper they are favorites to win in every game, even against likes of Barca and Madrid (No Offence bcoz I am RM fan). But just like what Atletico doing in La Liga, Wolfsburg is doing same in Bundelisga. They are showing other teams that if you play well you can defeat a good team.
Today also I am gonna predict high scoring victory for Real Madrid( Not kind of prediction everyone knows what will be the outcome of match). But important point is that today Bale will score the first hattrick for Real Madird.
@Imperial_J Cant beleive such an strong and healthy lad goes down to injury and sickness now and then , clearly needs to work on fitness . workrate , diet.
With or without CR7, Madrids intention whenever they plays is to play well and win handsomely. Sometimes they may fail, but still Madrid fans are behind them. Surely we will win the coming matches against Sociedad and Sevilla. And when Ronaldo joins the team against Atletico I would like to see him giving his best for Real and plays winning role against them. Maybe goals or two with a win would be his birthday present. Recover well in this two weeks as we want to see you against Atletico in your full rhythm.
Ronaldo's sending off might actually be a blessing for Madrid, aside from his amazing physicalilty, he disappears anytime the game gets tougher, he's not the type of player that can really rise for the occasion. Rough him up a little bit and he disappears. His character is typical of a bully, give the little kids a hard time and cower down against whoever toughens up against him. Sociedad will probably lose in Madrid but they will give it a good shot, and that's where I think Ronaldo is better missing than playing.
@wsamara Using pejoratives doesnt make your comment more of a valuable input. He wont be missed for his gameplay as he was below par since last few games but his aura will be missed but recently bale's subverting that slowly. Bale & Neymar would be the real deal in coming years.
@commandozap Isco imo will be massive players as well , he's just 23 and mega-legends like Zidane already say that 'Isco's technical level is equivalent to mine'. And thats a colossal compliment any football player could get.
@commandozap Bale and Neymar are surely the future or Madrid and Barca, especially with Ronaldo getting into his 30s, but then again try to give me a number of "big" games that Ronaldo has performed well in vs a number of "big" games where he was no where to be seen. I am very confident the number of big games where he didn't "show up" is higher.
@wsamara Look i dont wanna start with explanations as it looks like you only want to hear what you want to hear but Ronaldo is a not a big game player is a blasphemy.Ronaldo has stood up many times and failed many times on numerous ocassions for sure , no denying that , thats only human of him , and honestly i dont mind ronaldo failing in big games but helping us get to the big games where he sets up stage for lads like bale , isco and james to shine.
@wsamara Your statement is an diatribe rather than a nuance of banter. Its absolutely drivel to judge a person based on an incident , he has donated more than we've earned till now , he aint saint , he has a womanizer past which is hard to shake off but he needs to find a good woman if he wants to avoid further plummet in his game. Its hysterical to think he never rises to the ocassion
@soul_snatcher I didn't mention any specific incident, not sure where you understood that, but obviously you're talking about the red card. He's done a lot to Madrid, but count the big games that hasn't performed (even been absolutely nowhere to been seen sometimes) against the big games that he has actually performed and risen up to the occasion. Against Barca, Atletico, or in big games in the CL, you hardly see him doing much. But put him against middle to lower class team, he runs riots. That in particular is something I don't admire about him, he rarely rises to the occasion.
@wsamara thats an overstatement , a bully can never be as successful as cr7 is. That incident just reiterates human flaws amplified by emotional turmoil in his personal life. I dont know who cheat on whom but it definately looks like hard blow to his ego and soul
@Imperial_J again, i am not talking about his red card incident, I am saying that his absence in big games can sometimes be more of a blessing in disguise for Madrid since he doesn't perform as good in big games. Actually James, Kroos and Modric are the guys in Madrid who seem to have more consistency no matter how big the game is.
@wsamara Thats true , his absense will test the mettle and core of the squad. How efficient we are without him pulling the strings. Basically he is a leader after Iker & Ramos. Kroos(lately) hasnt been consistent , James needs to work on his workrate , he gets all gassed up in 70th , Isco is by far the most consistent player in the league. Jese needs a run-in.
@Imperial_J@commandozap@soul_snatcher I think Jese if fully match fit will likely replace Ronaldo in the starting XI for the game against R.Sociedad. Ronaldo is a player of utmost importance for Real Madrid. He might not be man of the match in every game he plays in, nor does he score in every game. What makes Ronaldo better then the rest isnt even the fact that in 6 or 7 out of 10 matches he plays in he scores. What really makes Ronaldo a rare breed is the fact that many times when no one else seem to find a solution to unlock the defence of the opposition, he rises to the occasion and out of thin air scores an individual effort, a long shot, a dribble that leads to a penalty, a header from a corner kick. Yes tap ins are also a big part of his goals but being at the right spot at the right time is no easy task and one that not many forwards are as good at as him. As for big games 2011 Copa Del Rey final, 2014 CL 2nd leg vs Bayern and so on....
@Turan You said it , jese is starting , james out , no clue whether isco will start but illara will. Ronaldo is driving force behind real's resurrection after lyon nightmares and serial dissapointment, even when mourinho's tactics were found out for a year or two , he was the one who bailed mou out single-handedly , he indispensible. BTW Real Madrid favourites to sign Marco Reus after Bayern Munich drop interest
@Turan Totally he just doesnt give up , he may not be scoring in big games but he makes huge impact by either psychologically taking on defenses alone , setting up others , initiating a goal-scoring gameplay or close , showing his mettel when everyones down or having a mental block. Change is a truth of life , and you can see him changing every year. If he gets rid off the woman factor , he can be bigger than he is now.
Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to say sorry for losing his head during the Córdoba clash.
"I'd like to apologise to everyone, and especially Edimar, for my rash actions during today's match", he posted. CR7 was also guilty of aiming a blow at José Ángel Crespo shortly before he was eventually sent off.
@commandozap It is now that other players need to step up and show that Real Madrid are not a one man team, win the matches that Ronaldo will be out with suspension and solidify our lead at the top of the table. The win at Cordoba was of utmost importance both physicologically and from a pure points perspective.
@Turan True. In football i've seen on numerous ocassions that such wins can give you inrodinate boost mentally and prepare you for anything thrown at you. Teams go all the way in competitions they play in. As far as Cr7's suspension goes , he wasn't extra-ordinary post-BdOr phase nor imperative so i dont think he'll be missed much ofcourse if players like Isco & Jese subdue that. But i hope really hope we keep Illara and dump Sami.
@commandozap well i there are only a couple of days left for the transfer deadline to come and i dont see Illara going anywhere so my guess would be for now Illara is safe. I cant say with certainty if he stays in the summer too but i think Khedira is most likely the one Lucas Silva is brought to replace. But honestly if a player like Pogba or Vidal are due to arrive in the summer then Illara might be on his way out.
@Turan@Turan Illara is a very good player but his dortmund faux pas has left a indelible mark on his career. Pejorative terms like idle-tree , brain-log has been bombarded on him by fans who limit their football consciousness to cr7 , messi. It would be wise to keep illara and give him much needed psychological boost than signing 80m pounds pogba who chickens out in CL's. Remember Perez called him extra-ordinary spanish breed of player during presentation? I do trust him to resurrect himself even if i might be the only madridista
@commandozap It is indeed true that Illara must first be given a true chance to prove himself before being sent away. Even Isco was being mentioned in various transfer posts and the bang he has done since Modric got injured has shown that if given the chance he is impressive. Illara is not tall nor that strong. He isnt aggressive and he isnt that creative. What Illara is good at and where he should capitalize on is reading the game, intercepting, passing the ball to forwards, regulating the tempo of the game depending on what the team needs as well as providing an extra option to pass the ball to. If he manages to do that he could prove to be a good option for the coming years. I guess we have to wait and see.
@Turan As you mentioned he is excellent transformation player who can translate def to mid effectively , control the tempo , keep the frequency of the game as desired , if you've seen him play he pulls out excellent through balls aerially , interception , breaking the play , tackling and blocking is good enough , he can even score but loves the sacrificial role. Honestly he has been through hell , isolated , cornered , benched still being professional and eager to help..For all that he is been through , he deserves a salvation
Bale 8.2??, better than Isco??
where are the benzema haters ??
@Lechiffre10 HI
Bale needs to relax.. he is obviously pressing a bit to score goals with the absence of CR7.. He didnt have a bad game today just lacking in his finish.. but we'll need him to perform better in the coming big games.
And we were planning to sell Illara , dear whoever.
Moyes approach in second half was below average and defeating.
Oh my god Bale wanted to score baaaaaaaaaaaad
Another day, same standing atop La Liga.
Rulli is not ordinary keeper , still young
Khedira for Kroos. Just about time ...
Benzemaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
@vikasjoshi9617 Pure Classs

@vikasjoshi9617 maybe he's traumatic after the first sociedad clash when they were leading 2-0 and later lost 5-2
@Terry It's 2-4 dude.
@vikasjoshi9617 oops big difference, so sorry for that.
@Terry I smell troll. GTFO
@Sinaj your mother is the troll mind your own business bitch
So we officially hibernate in first 3 minutes of each half , keep that in check CL rivals
Illaramendi is playing pretty pragmatic here, a good positive out of the game yet.
Bale's belter lack accuracy since quite a time now
@soul_snatcher We're extremely careless in final third. Moyes surely did his homework well.
Bale.....what was that?
Ronaldo wont miss that bale's miss 93/100 times.
HAHA madrid :)))
@amlnl Bye bye barca

Let me correct my preview before the game start...I change the 4-0 scoreline to 2-0.
@hellreaper lol
Isco starts instead of Jese
happy for lucas to make his debut ツ
La real will park and look for counters and set-pieces. If they dont line-up 4-5-1 , they'll be humiliated
Well, I predicted yesterday on whoscored that Bayern will be humiliated by Wolfsburg and my god they just didn't humiliated Bayern, they left whole world thinking is really Bayern a tough team? @vikasjoshi9617 I think that bale played awfully today and there is a hattrick in not scoring....
@vikasjoshi9617 Bale has already score a hattrick for Real Madrid during the 2013-2014 season.
@Turan It was against? I just remeber his braces.
@Imperial_J 4-0 win over Real Valladolid
@BenMcAleer1 Thanks Ben!
Well Real Sociedad is really hard to beat at home...but away they are just another team which is going to loose 4-0.
Real Madrid will win Isco will be Man of the Match
@Algeriaforever Best footballer in Madrids squad together with Kroos ...
James has the flu and is a doubt for La Real clash
@Imperial_J Cant beleive such an strong and healthy lad goes down to injury and sickness now and then , clearly needs to work on fitness . workrate , diet.
@Imperial_J Ancelotti has decided that Asier Illarramendi will play alongside Toni Kroos.

@commandozap btw just saw an article describing Ronaldo as golden flop post-BdOr win "The golden flop"
@commandozap well said
