- Alexandre Barthe will miss out for the Bulgarian's.
- Georgi Terziev is a doubt, but will be given up until kick off to prove his fitness.
- Alex Aleksandrov could start alongside Cosmin Moti in defence.
- Carlo Ancelotti may name the same starting XI which beat Villarreal 2-0 at the weekend.
- That will see Isco start on the bench once more.
- Jesé and Sami Khedira are both expected to miss out due to injury.
Just to clarify a few things. It is indeed true that most often than not, big teams like Real Madrid get a few more whistles in their favor at times when playing smaller teams...especially some fouls that otherwise might not be given, are given. BUT this does not mean that every single team playing against the big teams are hurt by the referee. It does happen, but not as often as people tend to cry about. Now specifically in this game, without having proper education on the referee guidelines and rules and all that they are taught, i am of the belief that there were wrong calls for both teams. A clear goal that was cancelled for Ronaldo, a penalty that might be a bit "soft" (meaning that there is contact but is it enough to justify a penalty?), an offside for Ludogorets that may have had proven to be a goalscoring opportunity...not to mention a few cards that players of both teams could have gotten for diving. I do not believe those mistakes were intentional, but simple wrong calls.
@Turan I think you're very wrong. Those 3,4,5,6,7% or more mistakes in favor of big western teams count ENORMOUSLY over the years or decades. In the last 2 decades football has become more of a business and not so much a sport. It's more like a stock-market than a sport in the long run, those 5% in favor of the big teams is worth hundreds of million if not billions of $$$, it's the difference between profit and loss, between having a chance at a trophy or not having, or between a flourishing national football system or League, or a dying one that continues to feed it's decreasing small group of good players to big and rich championships like England, Spain, Germany etc.
@Bleach If you want to talk in the grand scale, even though a Real Madrid fan, i am against players,coaches,agents,managers and all those involved in the sports earning millions. But on the other side if they implement restrictions then we might face an increase in illegal transactions and that is even worse. As for the referees, again i underline this....i myself play in the amateur league and week in-week out my teammates and opponents ALWAYS complain to the referees even when its obvious he just made a bad call. There is corruption....but not everywhere and always against us like we think it is.
Penaldo
How can anyone like that Cristiano guy? He already dived 5 times this season. By far the worst diver in the history of football. Makes you puke, really...
2nd penalty was a creation by Ronaldo & the referee. I'm disappointed now & I have a little respect to CR7.
@dib same here
I am a madridista but Respect Ludogorets. 0 points is a little unfair when you see how they have played these two games. I hope they can go to Europa League.
@Sinaj Considering how Basel played last time out and them beating 'Pool, wouldn't be a surprise for me if they would grab the 2nd place in this group. Though all the haters are funny, Moti left his knee in the way of Ronaldo during the 2nd penalty... can't see why that isn't a penalty. And those that cry how ref supported Real forget that the guy who caused first penalty wasn't sent off and also one Ronaldo's goal was wrongly disallowed. So, my advice, cry on :)
@Exti The match against Liverpool is going to be harder for us. That is a win or die situation for Liverpool. If we manage to win them in Anfield, they are in serious danger. On the other hand Basel's matches against Ludogorets home and away is very important for them if they want to go to the next stage.
I think that Man Of The Match is the referee ....
@Dr.Omar.Medicine.79 butthurt detected looool
quite bad calls by the referee tonight, especially that offside...
@Turan Which one? The one for Ludogorets or the one for Real? They had a lot of bad decisions today.
@Capitano The one for Ludogorets, 7 m or more behind the line and offside! WHAT?? Are you effin kidding me? It wasn't even a fast play, there is no excuse, the referee definitely gave Real 3 points. It's so BS when a big team play a decent smaller team and the reffs suck the rich team's cock.
@Bleach The first penalty call, the defender was the last one and he prevented Chicha from a one on one. He should have been red carded but the ref gave a yellow.
@Bleach Bad calls for both side. One goal called offside wrongly for Madrid. One wrong offside for Ludogorets. Your argument is invalid.
@Sinaj are u high
@levi22 Why you say so? :O
Holy hell the referee game offside when the player was 7 meters behind the line and he was clear on goal, could have equalized.
@Bleach Yeah, Ronaldo scored and the referee called offside even if it wasn't. So he made mistakes on both sides.
@Capitano no that was definitely offside
@levi22 Are you blind? :-( That is a pitty
@Capitano Exactly.
So many good chances wasted...
Bale has offered nothing in attack today, Ancelotti waits sooooo late to make substitutions when teams park the bus against us all we do is play the ball wide when we need to break them down through the middle.
@HalaMadrid12- Ludogorets didn't exactly park the bus, they had 10 shots and 39% of the ball which for a small team like them isn't terrible against a team like Real.
I think the ref is going to have to give Penaldo another penalty to win this game.
@Villa agreed
when ronaldo get a penalty, barca fans always shows up to mock ronaldo and the referee ............... when messi get a penalty, madrid fans always shows up to mock messi and the referee ....... wow ...... just wow .....
@ghoraaa I like Ronaldo but I have to say that he dived :)
@ghoraaa ya just football fan stuff right? lol
@ghoraaa Penaldo relies on penalties a lot more tbf. Just look at this match, jajajajjaajajaja :D
@Villa agreed
@Villa i'm not ronaldo fan, neither messi fan, so i don't really care who relies more on penalty, i'm just amazed with the amount of hatred from both side ..
yes i watch it..the first penalty that ronaldo missed there was a penalty..buut the second one was a simulation of ronaldo and he scored this one..
@georgi.gerdzhikov There is a GIF of the scene. Go watch it. Ronaldo exaggerated but there was a foul.
@georgi.gerdzhikov Moti's knee clattered Ronaldo, why isn't that a penalty?
This proves this team needs Benzema. Benz is indispensable. Link up play between midfield and upfront is lacking severely when he's not on the pitch.
@Lechiffre10 Every match has its specific condition
I think that in the end of the season we'll find that there is > 233 penalties to penaldo Then,,, to be chosen as the best player in the world HALA FIFADREAD
@Dr.Omar.Medicine.79 Hail Messi. Messi is god, I love him. F*ck Fifa, they are against Barcelona and king Messi. Grow up, don't be a dumb kid. Football is all about rivalry and passion, but also respecting the other team. Stop provocating and stop being chilfdish.
@Capitano I respect all the players but not the actors
@Dr.Omar.Medicine.79 UEFADRID
@kreizi Are you guys blind or just a whinning b**ch? Ronaldo's legit goal was called offside wrongly
Penaldo power!
@Papichulo Penalwer !
How many penalties will give stupid referee?
@kreizi so if one penalty is taken they should not be any other penalty even if the players fouled?
@Sinaj he wasn't fouled he dived......again unsurprisingly
@levi22 Ok. I got it. You must be a 8 year old whining stupid kid just like 90% of Cules
@kreizi Are you watching the game? You shouldn't even be up that late, what if your parents will catch you.
2 penalties in a game? Yep, standard Ronaldo.
@brainrust You are saying this like this happens every game. Why is the first penalty a "classic Ronaldo" when he wasn't even fouled and then missed the penalty. The second penalty was disscusable, but there was a contact. Before posting something you should think it through.
@Capitano I was just fishing for a reaction.
2 penalties, is anyone watching it that can say whether they were penalties or wrong decisions?
@JoeB91 The first one was half a penalty imo, too easily given and you won't see many of those in the UCL, and the second one was absolutely BS, Cristiano happened to fell down near a guy and the referee blew the whistle.
@Bleach You are a hater. The first foul was a "half" ? Go home. Penalty + red card. He was the last defender and he prevented Chicharito from a 1 on 1.
@JoeB91 Both of the penalties were right decisions in my opinion.. some referees would have given a red also for first.
@Exti dude are u high
@Exti You aren't even watching the game, are you? The second one was a yellow for diving.
Ronaldo vol 2.. better now, cmon!
is that formation how Real are really lining up? doesn't look a likely formation especially with Isco on the wing
@JoeB91 As a matter of fact, it appears to be like that, Bale and Isco are both playing quite deep and rather on the wings.
@Exti Or well, Isco mostly playing in the middle of the field but in that case, Marcelo is overlapping him anyway.
jajajajaja
Penaldo :O
@Villa and missed that Penalty too lol
HAHA!!!! go Ludogorets
PFC are winning :O
What the hell is going on during corners and other dead-ball situations... jesus.
We know Ludogorets are going to sit back for most of the game but we must not become complacent.
Real Madrid to WIN---> 1-2
Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and James are rested but i expect a tough game for my team real madrid
x
2:1 for Ludogorets
@darin.ivanov.129 lol
@Tricyus so imaginative
Possible starting XI: Casillas,Marcelo,Carvajal,Ramos,Varane/Pepe,Kroos,Modric,James,Ronaldo,Bale,Benzema. There is a slight possibility that Ancelotti gives mins to fringe players but nevertheless its more likely that he fields a strong starting XI in order to secure a win and pave the way for top spot of the group in order to get a more favorable knockout draw.
0 - 4 Ronaldo hattrick + James
@Sinaj Ronaldo definitely hattrick, but i don't think James would make one.
@HomaKP by one i meant a hattrick. of course he's very likely to score at least once.
@HomaKP james wont play
7-0
@DelJuve lol
@Villa hahahaha will never bet my money on real again
@DelJuve I made the same mistake :/
