- Layvin Kurzawa returned from international duty with a thigh injury and is expected to be sidelined for over a month.
- Tiemoué Bakayoko and Andrea Raggi missed out at the weekend through suspension so they will be well rested for the trip to Leverkusen.
- The latter will hope to return to the side at the expense of Aymen Abdennour, while Moutinho will be back in the starting line-up having been rested from kick-off at the weekend.
