one more WORLD CLASS pefromance from KING HENRIKH!! you make ARMENIANS proud <3 !! had enough english ;-) ?
@Bert_Macklin- You're on the high grade substances Bert if you thought he played anything other than "decent".
@SteveHyland just having a laugh, mate. trying to imitate the one delusional armenian who posts in the comments of every dortmund game
aubameyang was everywhere
lol i just got a flashback of alan shearer analyzing arsenal's poor defense on match of the day.
Yet again, it's Oezil and Sanchez playing out of position, both Wilshere and Ramsey playing when there's room for only 1 of them in the team, a lack of a genuine defensive midfielder in Flamini's absence and the full-backs being told to play as fully fledged wing-backs leaving chunks of space open! This was the same performance we had away to Man City, Liverpool and Everton last season yet Wenger is too stubborn to realise his philosophy away from home is wrong and change it. On the plus side, even though Welbeck missed 3 good opportunities, at least he got in the positions to have those opportunities. That's not a fluke (otherwise I would've made pro :-p ). After a run of games, the sharpness, confidence and finishing should materialise. As for Dortmund, they show every season that losing their best player does nothing to dampen their spirit. That comes primarily from the manager. I wonder what the result of this game would've been had the managers swapped?
am I the only one who is crying? what a shameful performance...
@Nemeth- Surely you're used to it in big away games by now? As Arsenal fans, we hope beyond hope that something will change but deep down you know it will not. :(
Lol at these stats
Mkhitaryan isa joke, worst player ! He missed 3 100 % chances ...
@neumi17- 1 injury to take off a yard of pace and he's championship/bottom half bundesliga level.
@neumi17 standart mkhitaryan
Arsenals football is outdated and boring...
1-0 OF COURSE..
BVB are dominating, even without Hummels, Reus, Kagawa, Kuba. Arsenal of course will manage to screw up.
And Piszczek.
Kagawa, Ramos and Piszczek are not gonna start. That means no creativity and I change my forecast from 3-1 to 1-1 or even 1-2 ...
1-1 safty think
3-1
Both time to score! 1-1
A very close game in my eyes. Both are on individual and as team very strong. Dortmund has some keyplayers injured (Hummels, Sahin, Reus and for the long term Gundogan), while Arsenal has some lack of defenders with European experience. Still, they both had a good repetition this weekend: Dortmund a good result against Freiburg and Arsenal drawed against a very strong Man. City. Both teams showed they were ready to prove their worth in European play. They both know each other from the last few years and every game was a pretty close one. Both worked very hard in those games and the results were always very close. So i predict this game is no different. A 1-1 seems a fair prediction. Keyplayers for Dortmund are Kawaga, Bender, Subotic and Mkhitaryan, while Arsenal has Ramsey, Sanchez, Wilshere and maybe Carzola (or Ozil) as key players. Hopefully a great game for the neutral supporters. Love Dortmund, but love for Arsenal is bigger for me ;). Ajax, then Arsenal for me personaly.
Gunners win lever win
@wolfmother hope, after winning the lever, they win the game
1-2
Gundogan has retired from football it seems , he's been last spotted at Himalayas.
@soul_snatcher He has been back in training for two weeks ...
I would say that Dortmund wins or draws. Sanchez, Ramsey, Ozil are the key threads of Arsenal but as a team Id say that BVB is more balanced and compact. Really close match though
Interesting game. Arsenal upgraded the strike force hugely since it was led, last time they met this mob if I recall correctly, by an underwear flouting Dane. BVB look much changed. Arsenal can score, the only question is the defence. Will BVB's speed metal high pressing buckle the defence? Or will a silly set piece do it? Hoping Bellerin lives up to the hype. But, source of hope, Chambers has done well and Bellerin is a similar age. I predict Ramsey will do an encore, and Alexis Will end the game with four goals from his last four games.
3-1
YOU Englishmen will exprerience ARMENIAN might of greatest midfielder in Europe, HENRIKH MKHITARYAN. mayhaps one day he will grace youre league with otherworldly talents and gifted, but on this day he will only PUNISH YOU Յաջողութիւն Մխիթարյան!!
@Gevorg- Best midfielder in Europe? He's not even the best midfielder in the Bundesliga. He is the budget version of Eden Hazard.
Shinji and Mkhitaryan will score !
I'd take a draw being away and with the injuries/suspension we have. There's still some doubt over Chambers' fitness due to having tonsillitis. Hector Bellerin will come in his place if he is out. He is a quality passer, reader of the game and ridiculously fast. He broke Walcott's 40 metre record (who had previously broke Henry's). Bellerin's time hasn't been released as of today but Walcott ran it in 4.42 seconds and Henry 4.82. In comparison to the NFL 40-YARD (equivalent of 36.576 metres) dash record set by Chris Johnson (running back originally with the Titans, now the Jets) of 4.24 seconds, we're looking at serious pace by all 3. I know pace is no indicator of footballing ability but I thought I'd share this info. Long term, I'm sure Bellerin will be a right winger but hopefully he does a good job tomorrow against a quality side. I say 1-1 (like WhoScored) and Sanchez man of the match.
Arsenal win or draw !
since dortmund home they win
Come on Arsenal
