@dSquib- Not always a positive for a CB but he played very well today and I'm sure will be a reliable defender for Juve & Italy in the future. It'll probably be best for the player if he has another season on loan at Empoli then start with Juve in 2016/17. Not sure if that's the plan but it'll be the best imo. Too many times I've seen a talented young player at a big club being played sparingly or out of position and it stalls their development. At Empoli he is learning his trade in his favoured position whilst paying regularly. No downside.
@SteveHyland You may be right, it might even benefit him in the long run to endure a much more difficult/challenging season at Empoli with them losing some other very important players.
But with Barzagli a year older I'd suspect Rugani will get a good amount of time at Juve and he looks ready, we'll see. Also if Real put in a mega offer for Bonucci they might be seriously tempted. But yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he's asked to cover at right back sometimes, which may not be ideal.
Romagnoli will replace Bianchetti and Crisetig for Viviani, and Battocchio will play where you have Bernadeschi.
A better line up today but still Italy might lack creativity, and I don't think Benassi adds that. I wish Verratti were there...
A draw wouldn't be a disaster. You'd expect Portugal to beat Sweden and Italy can beat England.
Rugani is everywhere. . .
