@lLuke really english league has ha heart. it is i did not know that then is why man u dominted epl since its inception? Why were there only 4 different champion epl besides man u dominating them all. why is as of this point differnce bw top team like chelsea and relegated team point differnce is 45 epl. 39 in Bundesliga and 43 and la liga? Does that factors still make epl competive?
How much english fa is paying u mindless propaganda of english being competive or best when they are clearly not. I hope they are paying otherwise it woud be pathetic.
@Ffaris It's hard to say i think their is a collective of things which make premier league so popular. By heart i meant mainly spirit and competitiveness, hi tempo games; fun, exciting etc. That's your opinion, and i don't look back so much. Prem has many clubs that can beat any team in the world if they play well on the day. When barca were absolutely slaughtered by bayern and made to look amateur does that make them crap? Does that make la liga any worse?
I dislike both Mourinho and David Luiz, but I may turn into a David Luiz fan for the way he exacted revenge on my least favorite manager in football, Mourinho. He did all his talking on the pitch on one decisive game.
EPL is still the most competitive league in Europe,and Barca Real Bayern are the best teams in Europe. Chelsea deserved to be knocked out with that performance. They controlled the REf well in their favor but, in the end it was Mou's tactic's that failed him and chelsea. Chelsea were way too defensive, Mou with his experience should have known it wasn't gonna end well with just a one goal lead. Everyone saw it coming expect for chelsea fans and mou PSG had all the momentum even when a goal down.

Premier League is the biggest English speaking league in the world. If it's not right now the best it will be through sheer weight of money.
7 out of the last 10 finals have had English teams. 3 out of the last 10 have been won by Premier League clubs so they aren't doing that badly. I think the English game is just in flux with quite a few big clubs having new managers and a lot of squad turnover.
PSG played really well. Some amazing passing right there. Its fair to say they were the better side and deserved to qualify. Ibra should have gotten a yellow and it was a penalty on D.Costa. I didnt get to see D.Luiz actually elbowing Costa but he definetely rose his hand high, if it was an elbow he should have gotten a red card. Mourinho was, is and will remain as one the best coaches out there but his team was overshadowed by PSG's enthusiasm in both matches.
that's fair, chelsea won last year, PSG this year and the team quality is equal; you have to practice defence on corners vs teams with such powerful CB like PSG, Real and Atletico, but it was the and of time so concentration was not on the level due to exhaustion
haahahhaha just when I had started thinking that Real Madrid might not be the best team in the world. Fans from other teams just can't stop mentioning it. Hala Madrid XD
Chelsea beat Schalke 5-0 away earlier this season and Real Madrid lost to them 3-4 at home. Means nothing. People are reading too much into this EPL is rubbish nonsense. Say what you want, the EPL is still at least the 2nd best league in Europe and in the world.
@excalibur wow a deluded agree it was number 2. hahaha. Well it is starter. Consider all money english league get went to other leauges then? I am sure they do lot better epl.
@excalibur Last time Real also beaten them 6-1 away. This time both RM & S4 are different. And yes, EPL is rubbish. They don't have the combined power of technical ability and mental toughness to go far in UCL. Even French League teams are performing better than EPL now. Man City & Man Utd are the only two teams that can perform in UCL. If Chelsea doesn't have the confidence to play attacking football even when the opponent has one player less, that too their best player, it shows a lot of about the team and its manager. They have no belief.
@neumi17- There are never logical reasons for stating the EPL is the 4th best league- or any lower than 2nd. If you use logic, you're likely to get the correct answer. We all know Wolfsburg will destroy any team in the prem even though 2 of their "stars" are those not good enough to be regulars on Chelsea's bench. That's logic. Oh wait a second....
If Chelsea had Schalke like lucky Madrid i'm sure they would of gone through as well Lmao but no one talks about it. PSG were only 2nd in their table thanks to BARCELONA and Madrid would of lost to PSG based on their last performances we all know that lol!
@lLuke Okay let's see. Barca beat PSG. We beat Barca so we could beat PSG. (I'm using your logic)
But using the common logic, teams change during a full season. Schalke with Di Matteo has changed and they could beat any other team with this passion/ intensity they had against us.
@Sinaj PSG also beat barca 3-2. Chelsea are out thanks to away goal rule.
I never said Schalke are a bad team and i'm saying based on FORM it's likely Madrid would be out by now if they had faced PSG. Based on form only, ofc Madrid are the favourites and expected to win. Also i wasn't trying to excuse Chelsea, they played so poor and i'm happy PSG won. I think Chelsea missed Lampard's quality and experience this game but then the team all over seemed hesitant to play. Still i think Chelsea would of been more happy to play Schalke.
I think people slagging off the premier league need to be careful not to base opinions of a league off of their teams' results in Europe in a SINGLE season. From the 2004/05 to 2011/12 seasons, there was only a single season where an English team didn't make the final (2009/10) including 3 wins, 2 very close losses and an all-English final. This season the EPL teams have failed miserably, I agree, but it wouldn't be surprising at all to see all 4 teams from the prem in the last 8 next season and 1 or more in the semis. The Serie A dropped from a "tier 1" league to a "tier 2" one over a number of years of being nowhere near the level required in the champions league, constant failure to attract (and keep) top world class talent and secure a large TV audience. The same cannot be said for the EPL. We had 2 QF and 1 SF just last season. If our teams' failures persist for another couple of seasons then the conversation would be a pertinent one but until then it's just a bad campaign.
@SteveHyland The past is a good thing to look back at , but dont keep staring. Accept the reality if you intend to maneouver it, Epl is inordinately below Liga and Bundesliga friend. Until next time then.
@soul_snatcher Below Bundesliga? Hahahahaha Bundeslgia is so bad that Bendtner plays there and Bayern Munich walk every match. It's more of a joke than Scotland where Celtic hoover up all the best players. Bayern does the same, just buys all of Dortmund's best players to make it a joke of a league.
Neuer would get regularly chipped if he played in the Premier league. In the Bundesliga he plays as sweeper because no one has the skill. And then you have clubs that are just extensions of huge corporations - Wolfsburg and VW and Bayer Leverkusen and Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
Where do you think Guardiola will head to manage after Bayern Munich? Schalke 04? hahahaha, Leverkusen? hahahaha Hertha Berlin? hahahahaha
The club won't be in the Bundesliga or Italy I can promise you that.
Well the 5th place side in Serie A can beat the the 5th place side in EPL, without too much drama. I know Fiorentina well, and they did not suffer much against Spurs - Napoli beat Arsenal(the top side in EPL)and Dortmund(the top placed side last year in the Bund) they beat Chelsea(as did Juve) and Man City, so perhaps you should get off your horse a little. A bad year is not a drama. But the EPL should look at Serie A because that league made the EPL what it is - Serie A created the modern league as we know it - the problem with Serie A is that it believed that it would go on forever - the very thing the EPL must avoid. You can put it down to a bad year - but if its more than that - then denial sets in and you have a serious problem.
@calciozucchini Serie A cannot even afford to pay their players...... Have you heard of Parma? Poor attendances and corrupt too. Calciopoli anyone? Gervinho is a star player there hahaha!
Face it Serie A had its time in the '90s with the great AC Milan teams and the early 2000s with good Milan, Juve and Inter teams. Napoli and Fiorentina are top clubs now but they can't compete with the commercial power of the EPL. Otherwise, Cuadrado would have stayed in Tuscany.
@SteveHyland Don't bore them with the facts, Steve. There are some people who have an irrational hatred for the Premier League, which borders on the bizarre.
@SteveHyland They need a team to raise the level. The leading team right now is Chelsea who's not the best team to lead a championship. It's pretty much Atletico Madrid's BPL, so you need an in form Real Madrid and Barcelona, which you don't have.
@le_chimiste- Well I think this year's Atletico would struggle against this year's Chelsea.1 has strengthened and the other has gone the opposite way. I agree about Barcelona and Real (and the same with Bayern in the Bundesliga) but people don't seem to realise the monopoly those teams have in their respective divisions- financially or otherwise. The type of borderline corruption that happens in La Liga doesn't happen in English football and we all know about Bayern's unofficial policy of buying players from other Bundesliga clubs just so other teams in the league can't have them.
I don't know how much cultural arrogance plays a role in games like this when you have a Portuguese manager, a largely continental and South American team. And that's not to say that if only Chelsea showed PSG due respect they would have won. The truth is they are evenly matched in quality.
But the fans... the assumption of so many on here and in the media and in life that Chelsea are better than PSG is amazing, even with the increasingly poor performance of English teams in Europe. I think that European teams know of this attitude and it fires their players up even more.
There's bluster and arrogance everywhere but with the mystique around the EPL, it just gets so willfully blinkered and clueless. You are not entitled to win anything!
Chelsea just bottled this game. They are a much better team than PSG, had all the cards stacked in their favour- especially after Ibrahimovic's undeserved red card, yet played as though they were the team with 10 men defending a poor home result. PSG were the better team for sure but anyone who has seen Chelsea play this season, in particular at home, could see this wasn't the same team that has looked amazing at times. I disagree with Mourinho's post-match comments about PSG's tactical fouling, feigning injury etc. Chelsea did, and do at times, as much of everything PSG did tonight. HIs team just weren't up to the challenge mentally. As for PSG, they have too many defensive holes to win the champions league so it will be 1 of Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Any team left in the competition that has a better defence has a much lesser attack so I can't see the winner not coming from those 3.
@SteveHyland They should beat PSG with 10 men but this "They are a much better team than PSG" is just utter crap, and it's partly why nights like this happen in the first place. Player for player they are not "much" better. They may not even be better! PSG are not "much" better either. But they might be a little bit better. Chelsea might be a little bit better also. But nobody is much better.
Get out of the bubble.
@dSquib- Ok, let's go through the respective XI's that played comparing those who played in their correct position. Courtois is the better GK, Cahill and Terry the better CB partnership, Matic a better DM than Motta, Fabregas a better CM than Verrati, Matuidi a better CM than Ramires. Pastore sometimes plays left wing so we can even say Hazard is the better LW. Up front it's difficult because of the imbalance that PSG plays but I would put Costa up there with either Ibrahimovic or Cavani. If we include the CB partnership as a single area then that's 5 to 1 in favour of Chelsea and Chelsea aren't a team of individuals so yes much better player for player and I'm sure the majority of the football world without a pro-PSG or anti-EPL bias would see so. This is the problem with basing the opinion of a team or a league on 1 tie. If Chelsea even half turned up in this game it would've been 3-0 but they didn't. That doesn't make PSG anywhere near as good, after all they don't even lead Ligue 1
Shows that State of English Premier League!
Chelsea who are easily claiming the EPL trophy this season got caught with 10 PSG side.
English league is competitive, but it's due to it's own low standards of teams.
@lLuke sure, if you like to see a team unable to string more than 3 passes together at a time. running back and forth like a chicken with their head cut off.
Well.. just the other day Schalke beat Madrid at home which i think is more shocking than this result, so don't attack leagues please.
Well done PSG, u can go all the way.
@lLuke But whole EPL is knocked out, Liverpool by Basel, Arsenal at home by Monaco, City at home by Barca Chelsea at home by PSG. Even in europa league they get their @sss beaten, by fiorentina and besikstas. EPL is tier 2 or even tier3 right now.
@radaner If Chelsea got Schalke like lucky Real Madrid i'm sure they would be through too Lmao but no one talks about it. PSG are strong, they already beat barca as we know.
@radaner- Arsenal aren't out yet, pretty sure the ties are 2-legged affairs, and there hasn't been a team in history too good to not be beaten by complacency. ;-)
@radaner If you don't like EPL don't watch it either way it'll still be the most watched league in the world, people want to be entertained and EPL has everything; massive clubs, top players and big games.
@LLCAN- Yeah or maybe that's where the broadcasters predict they'll get the most viewers almost like it's a business? Lol. Outside of the top 2 in Spain and Bayern in Germany, nobody watches many of the other games en masse. Teams like Atletico and Dortmund will never keep their best players so pointless spending money on the leagues barring the clasico.
the ref's rating: 1/10. Why red card for Ibra? No red for Costa? No penalty for Costa? No yellow cards for Silva/Matic? Honestly, if you do the hand of god you at least get a yellow.
man, why do whoscored never show the result of the first match and the aggregate score? It should be shown right below the scoreline on the 'match centre'. Seriously.
PSG. Too much epicness in one game. Managed to win with 10 men for 90 minutes. Luiz making Mou eat his words and becoming Chelsea's own villian. Thiago despite making an unfortunate mistake never let it destroy his composure behind him and rectified it with the winning goal. True quality of a captain, admits mistakes, stayed calm and composed. And bestfriends in the backline winning the game. Well deserved.
Epl being a absolutely weak league , below la liga , bundesliga , probably lower or on par with serie A and Ligue 1 , deserves only 2 CL spots henceforth , 1 direct qualification and 1 for CL qualifiers. #JusticeNeededPlatini
@Imperial_J Not because there is only ONE team in Ligue 1 able to make great games (in rare occasions) that Ligue 1 is better than EPL... And which serie A team would be able to go so far in the Champion's League? Let me answer to you... No one.
@Ouftey Napoli beat Chelsea - lost away - but not bad for a side with less than half the revenue of Chelsea - they beat Arsenal and Dortmund (Who were both top of their leagues at the time)
@Ouftey- Don't worry, he is 1 of a few on here who live their life waiting for an English team to lose in Europe to a non-English one just so he can bad mouth the premier league.
@SteveHyland You're asphyxiated already , yes i hate england and their pitiful league. I'm raptured by their every loss in europe which reiterates the fact how weak epl is , no amount of incongruous slef-deluded statement can smokescreen the fact. Epl isnt half as good or in equivalence to quality of Liga & Bundesliga. Maybe even plummeting below Serie A & Ligue 1 with time. If you choose to live with delusion , delirious state of mind , which is apparent , i feel compassionate.
@Imperial_J- This is the problem when you don't speak English as your primary language, you use long words which you don't know the meaning of, have minimal grammatical skills or the ability to form an unbiased opinion.
@Imperial_J Worse than Bundesliga.... Below Serie A.. No Premier league teams ever have trouble paying their players like La Liga or Serie A.
Organisation and attendances (especially away), Premier league is light years ahead of the rest. PSG and the French League would be nowhere without the dirty Qatar money.
@Overmars ATTENDACE WISE LA LIGA and LIGUE 1 EQUALS EPL AND BUNDESLIGA TOP THEM ALL. So ur argumenet on epl having high attendance is faulty to its core.
I'm at peace now. With multi-million dollars of talent at your disposal you choose to pay like a mediocre mid-table team under the drivel notion of 'masterminding the games' , that too at home? You're blithering , glorified , narcissistic clown mourinho , and you know it.
best league in the world, indeed. Manchester City are pratically out, and I have higher chance of banging Shakira than arsenal advancing to the next round.
@hellreaper competive hell yeah why man u dominted epl since its inception? Why were there only 4 different champion epl besides man u dominating them all. why is as of this point differnce bw top team like chelsea and relegated team point differnce is 45 epl. 39 in Bundesliga and 43 and la liga? Does that factors still make epl competive? competive, unpredictable and nice to watch. I know fat oversized girls england are really nice to watch. An eye candy. ;)
@Mr.Parker Even if he did, it didn't change the trajectory of the ball. We must use common sense here: It didn't look intentional, and it didn't help PSG. The referee didn't even see it.
It's always a pleasure to see rascal players like Costa, Sunday league ignorance, what an animal XD
I want some more hard play and booking in this extra time, c'mon, show me your worst
@Mattia I really don't mind player getting physical with eachother, i rather like it.. being a complete dickbag like Costa is a different thing though..
Worst referee´s performance this season, there will be more red cards in this match, because of his bad decisions players are getting angry and aggressive. Joke of a referee!
I don't understand everyone going for a PSG win or draw. Chelsea are 1 of the most potent teams in Europe at home and anything other than a Chelsea win is unlikely. I'm going with 2-0 and Chelsea to actually win the champions league. They have the only great defence of ANY team still left in it, and have a great attack.
Line up for PSG : Sirigu - Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Maxwell - Verratti, Thiago Motta, Matuidi - Pastore, Ibrahimovic, Cavani
Line up for Chelsea : Courtois - Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta - Ramires, Matic - Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard - Diego Costa
PSG is gonna tear down the Great Wall of Chelsea!
Screw Mou and his negative style. You can't have so much talent in a team and not show up to score goals. For football's sake, I really hope they lose.
@MacGoreth
Exactly, and if there was a team that had reason to park the bus it was Atletico. Ugly as it may be, parking the bus is a valid tactic if you are seriously outmatched.
Mou doesn'have that excuse. If he parks the bus, it's out of fear.
I'm sorry, no 500M squad should ever, ever park the bus.
Chelsea, Chelsea! Chelsea, Chelsea! Gonna make it a bluuuuue day!
Come on Suggs, give Chelsea the strength they need to draw 1-1 and lose valiantly on PKs.
@dSquib humm you actually think that chelsea would "lose valiantly on PKs" ? judging for how good and huge courtois is (not saying sirigu is bad) i think that the PKs would be a win for chelsea. it's very much a 50 50 game, so a win for any team is likely even though home crowd gives some advantage to chelsea
Mourinho knows how to stop Ibra (he's never scored against Mourinho's team), also Lucas is injured. Chelsea is in good shape, plus Jose has a gift of winning matches of high importance under pressure. No way PSG is coming away with a victory. Any draw is fairly possible though.
Seems like all the neutrals want PSG to advance.And all this time i've thought Chelsea received hate because of their massive spending. It turns out people just hate the fact that Chelsea are a really good side.
Keep hating, while we keep lifting trophies:)
@Ferit22- If they want a team to advance can they really be called neutrals in the true sense of the word? I personally disliked when Abramovich come in and spent £100m+ every season (well, it felt like it at least) but in terms of signings, it didn't always work with some absolute bummers- Crespo, Mutu, Shevchenko etc so it's not like the whole team was bought or that they were the only big spenders. The irony being that PSG HAVE bought practically their whole team, were a nothing club before the rich owners came in and have spent obscene amounts on compiling an over-rated squad full of individuals. Those who want PSG to win because of "money bags" Chelsea don't have a keen sense of irony or double-standards.
Honestly i just can't wait for this game in equivalence to borussia v juve. But studying whole day is an contingent to be able to enjoy this perk.
I dont think parking the bus would be smart option for any team here , go big or go home.
I am fan of Paris since many years. I see Paris win tomorrow because nobody wait Paris win to stamford bridge, we'll have not any pressure. Even if Lucas is injured, we can win. Nobody has seen win againt barca this year whereas Barca was in form and Paris not spécially but we are managed to win againt Barca. I don't bet on Paris but tommorrow I bet on Paris @4odds
I'm a neutral but I see PSG scoring at Stamford bridge! chelsea are sligjt favourites and Jose is a master when it matters but PSG are a complete team and have shown this far that they can give any team a game! Chelsea will set up to defend as usual.
This game will either show us once again that Mourinho simply has his way of managing to get the result he wants in these kind of games or it will show us that the enthusiasm of a club like PSG can overcome the mastermind named Mourinho. I personally have a feeling that it will come down to who takes their chances because a team can have posession and create chances all night long, while the other scores from a counter attack or a set piece and goes through...we all know who is good at doing this.
@Trax not exactly like PSG, mourinho built a bit of what chelsea is. but of course both have spent a lot of money so comments like khadar's are clearly a chelsea's narrow minded way
Crazy match..
hah 11 babies

psg wineeeeer
it was a great match but psg did not deserve to pass
@Chris667 Dominating against CFC who plays at home 12 against 10 is enough to deserve to go through. Don't forget the lucky draw CFC got in Paris.
Costa with brilliant assist ;) 7.4 - heheheh :D

@Overmars bundesliga cannot afford the same money as epl. but they are kicking epl asses. even atlectico cannot afford but they still kicking asses.
@SteveHyland Don't bore them with the facts, Steve. There are some people who have an irrational hatred for the Premier League, which borders on the bizarre.
@excalibur there some ppl who shamelessy freely doing propaganda of epl and hating other league for free. Now that what i call sociopath.
@SteveHyland struggle against chelsea. Chelsea struggled against basel they drew their matches.
ICI C'EST PARIS ! WE DEED IT !! :'(
@Trax YES MY FRIEND !!
The Special One....for me to poop on.
Luiz should be 9.9
Ibra did not deserve that red card, he tried to avoid the fault as soon as he realized he was reaching late to the ball.
@dib And Oscar was as bad. Ibra got sent off for being the bigger of the two (as well as Chelsea protests).
PSG vs Madrid would be a great game.
Shows that State of English Premier League! Chelsea who are easily claiming the EPL trophy this season got caught with 10 PSG side. English league is competitive, but it's due to it's own low standards of teams.
@shihab19 I wouldn't say the prem is that weak just overrated but for entertainment value it is the best.
@lLuke sure, if you like to see a team unable to string more than 3 passes together at a time. running back and forth like a chicken with their head cut off.
It was 12 vs 10 ! The referee was with Chelsea ! Still Justice done , there is one watching over.
@Imperial_J exactely mate!
Well.. just the other day Schalke beat Madrid at home which i think is more shocking than this result, so don't attack leagues please.
@lLuke pathetic arguement. real are still in cl whereas none of english team expcept 4ssnal. that is big benefit of doubt.
@lLuke most watched league in the world because broadcasters don't buy the rights to any other leagues. it's just an extension of neo-colonialism
@SteveHyland hey stevive welcome back. How are you my mindles sheep.
@LLCAN You've won the award for the stupidest thing I've read on the internet congratulations. Victim complex much? Inferiority complex - wow.
@LLCAN well broadcasters want the rights of the best league and that makes bpl no 1
silva
Shouldn't Silva have a red P above his name?
the ref's rating: 1/10. Why red card for Ibra? No red for Costa? No penalty for Costa? No yellow cards for Silva/Matic? Honestly, if you do the hand of god you at least get a yellow.
@LaViola..GOMEZ What 1/10? More like 0.1/10
I'm not a PSG fan but,I think this team deserves admiration.Well done Blanc$ such invincible team.
@Farzad. invincible?
man, why do whoscored never show the result of the first match and the aggregate score?
No one.
@Ouftey enjoying watching europa league for everton.
@Ouftey hey ligue 1 two team on cl where enland has none hahaha.
@Ouftey Napoli beat Chelsea - lost away - but not bad for a side with less than half the revenue of Chelsea - they beat Arsenal and Dortmund (Who were both top of their leagues at the time)
@Ouftey Juve
@SteveHyland wow stevive you really make good argument for mindless slave. ;). Fake gooner.
Mourinho is a ignoramus , dunce. Hence proved , like his sycophants.
Deserved! I am very happy with this Psg in the 8! Usually I am supporting to Chelsea, but tonight PSG was better with classics!
Englad LOL
Damn you, the representative of the United Kingdom
Special one my as* , more like special delirious incompetant snob.
Mourinho is pristine sh*t , what a nincompoop slouch.
For the first time I have supported PSG because they really deserved to go trought
I'm at peace now. With multi-million dollars of talent at your disposal you choose to pay like a mediocre mid-table team under the drivel notion of 'masterminding the games' , that too at home? You're blithering , glorified , narcissistic clown mourinho , and you know it.
best league in the world
bestfriends winning the game! them feels..
best league in the world, indeed. Manchester City are pratically out, and I have higher chance of banging Shakira than arsenal advancing to the next round.
@MacGoreth According to bookies Arsenal has a 15% chance of make it through, which I'm pretty sure are bigger than yours. :D
@le_chimiste nops shakira still has higher probality than 4ssnal going through.
@MacGoreth Gerard?
Justice in the end. The best team is going through.
Dominated by 10 men at home. "Special one" indeed.
Best league in the world.
@El_Duderino and it is...by the best league it means competitive, unpredictable and nice to watch.
An eye candy. ;)
Haha, Diego Costa is pathetic.
Well deserved promotion.
What a spirited performance from PSG - such a brave performance with 10 men. Really expected Chelsea would get to the semi final at least.
So much faith in this club WASTED. Only rooted for you 'cause you're an English team (City fan), and now, it's WASTED.
are we sure he didn't use his hand?
@Mr.Parker Even if he did, it didn't change the trajectory of the ball. We must use common sense here: It didn't look intentional, and it didn't help PSG. The referee didn't even see it.
what a captain!
I feel like ref is going to meddle now.
@El_Duderino they should give a rating to the ref for each game.
HAHAHAHAHA!
@El_Duderino Hope they can defend well!
Well done PSG. They have to hold on now. They deserve it.
@HalaMadridGOAL agreed
Silva ... Yes
OMG
If Chelsea do manage to get through, it's due to bad officiating and a lot of luck.
Well its do or die now, no PKs here
It's always a pleasure to see rascal players like Costa, Sunday league ignorance, what an animal XD I want some more hard play and booking in this extra time, c'mon, show me your worst
@Mattia I really don't mind player getting physical with eachother, i rather like it.. being a complete dickbag like Costa is a different thing though..
Only Juve and PSG
Mourinho 's lucky this really great
Drogba the golden substitute.
"Ref of the year" ... Costa should get a Red already
@Redhawkz this was LAST YEAR. This year, it's Alireza Faghani
i m sure 2 goal score and xtera time
1-1, now go till penals drama:)
Costa is the dirtiest player in football now. What a c...
2x Red for Costa
PSG is in the next round.
Hope PSG to score one more...
good night all.
YES!!!!!!!!!!
As usual for english team they have nothing but the luck.
he scored with his foot, he scored with his foot! Gary Cahill! He scored with his foot!
hold it Chelsea!
hold
Referee is clearly favouring chelsea ...
wish i was on Bayern tonight...
Red for Costa...
So no red now?? Cool
Damn it Cavani, why do you have to shoot that with the left foot? That's a golden 1 on 1 chance with Courtois!
Good call my couch
Oscar deserves an oscar if you know what i mean
definately a penalty..ref sucks
Blanc needs to sac a defender now, something like 3 4 2. Mourinho will take the 0:0 draw FT.
The red card is exagerated...
Worst referee´s performance this season, there will be more red cards in this match, because of his bad decisions players are getting angry and aggressive. Joke of a referee!
@espana wont be FT IMO. The PSG player's stamina wont last that long.
0-0
Diego Costa, what was that? You knocked yourself down, you clown.
And now he dives again.
@El_Duderino someone needs to get their eyes treated
@kumar.lalitesh Yeah, the referee.
Ibrahimobitch. Plays for who pays the most, never wins a major title.
Haha Mourinho pressure on referees works...! Shame, this spoils the show!
Haha Mourinho pressure on referees works...! Shame, this spoils the show!
This wasn't a red card... Geez, Oscar, you pathetic diver.
@El_Duderino it wasn't a dive, but it certainly wasn't a red
LOL seriously Red? they both contest the ball.. one gets a red the other gets to roll on the ground
Both games have been ruined...
Lame ...!
Matuidi x4
I don't understand everyone going for a PSG win or draw. Chelsea are 1 of the most potent teams in Europe at home and anything other than a Chelsea win is unlikely. I'm going with 2-0 and Chelsea to actually win the champions league. They have the only great defence of ANY team still left in it, and have a great attack.
@SteveHyland i knew that all along steve u were true gunner. U just tv fan of entire epl. pathetic.
@SteveHyland "They have the only great defence of ANY team still left in it". Not true - Atletico, Juve.
Line up for PSG : Sirigu - Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Maxwell - Verratti, Thiago Motta, Matuidi - Pastore, Ibrahimovic, Cavani Line up for Chelsea : Courtois - Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta - Ramires, Matic - Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard - Diego Costa
As a RM fan the only reason why i would like to see Chelsea go through is because i would like to see them play Los Blancos.. should be fun times!!!
@golomo1 Not this season
1-1, penals drama later on
2-2
0-1
2-1
3-1 chelsea i sure
PSG is gonna tear down the Great Wall of Chelsea! Screw Mou and his negative style. You can't have so much talent in a team and not show up to score goals. For football's sake, I really hope they lose.
@Papichulo Atletico Madrid taught them a good lesson last year, which Mou didn't take into consideration. :p
@MacGoreth Exactly, and if there was a team that had reason to park the bus it was Atletico. Ugly as it may be, parking the bus is a valid tactic if you are seriously outmatched. Mou doesn'have that excuse. If he parks the bus, it's out of fear. I'm sorry, no 500M squad should ever, ever park the bus.
@Papichulo good point. You should run for FIFA presidency. You got my vote.
@Papichulo good point:)
chelsea wins, this is mourinho's game and he has a team at his liking,might even be a 2-0
Chelsea, Chelsea!
@killghost15 Gloriously losing at PKs is what English teams do.
Chelsea -0.25
Mourinho knows how to stop Ibra (he's never scored against Mourinho's team), also Lucas is injured. Chelsea is in good shape, plus Jose has a gift of winning matches of high importance under pressure. No way PSG is coming away with a victory. Any draw is fairly possible though.
Come on chelseaaaaahhhh!
2-3
over 2.5 chelsea win is esea
@SteveHyland This. You put words on my thoughts. 100% agreed
2-1
@nap most probable score
1-0
Honestly i just can't wait for this game in equivalence to borussia v juve. But studying whole day is an contingent to be able to enjoy this perk. I dont think parking the bus would be smart option for any team here , go big or go home.
@soul_snatcher Studying for two exams :( I'm probably going to have to miss this one.
@HalaMadridGOAL Study always comes first no matter what. You can always catch the highlights later on torrents. Goodluck !
ALLEZ PARIS ! It will be really hard but we can do it... I think that details and chances will be important in this match Chelsea 2-2 PSG
@Trax Dude good job!
Chelsea 1-0 PSG.Chesea after goal parked a bus and win this game
Should be a delight for connoisseurs of bus parking.
2-1 chelsea
2
This game will either show us once again that Mourinho simply has his way of managing to get the result he wants in these kind of games or it will show us that the enthusiasm of a club like PSG can overcome the mastermind named Mourinho. I personally have a feeling that it will come down to who takes their chances because a team can have posession and create chances all night long, while the other scores from a counter attack or a set piece and goes through...we all know who is good at doing this.
Chelsea 3 vs 1 P$G
@khadar Mate, the game is Chel$ki vs P$G. You got one of the team's name wrong.
@khadar Always funny when a Chelsea fan act as if their club were built with passion and love, but no no no no money !
@khadar Stupid. Chelsea is a club just like PSG so do your idiot thing for this club too...
@Trax correction: chelsea's fan narrow minded way
@Trax not exactly like PSG, mourinho built a bit of what chelsea is. but of course both have spent a lot of money so comments like khadar's are clearly a chelsea's narrow minded way
2_0
aww so many daft psg fans..
Pastore will start, not Lavezzi, except if Blanc is crazy.
@Murgen Lavezzi usually plays more than Pastore. I'd say it's a 50/50 chance. I'd also prefer Pastore.
@Murgen Yeah of course it' Javieer
@Trax It seems obvious but 2 people downvoted me, ahah
Chelsea 2-2 PSG I reckon.
@dSquib I forgot to specify A.E.T. :-D
PSG can go through this time
@commandozap No
@commandozap Not far-fetched at all. Could very well happen.
They have bulldozed enough of epl fodders but epiphanic visit of PSG shall catch them off-guard hopefully , PSG 2-1 or 2-2
@soul_snatcher you're so funny lad.
@jzbcfc not as funny as you.
Chelsea 1-1 PSG with PSG winning in PKs
@Mr.Parker I don't see PSG winning in PKs against Courtois, while Sirigu is really bad at stopping penalties.
@Murgen then chelsea will win in pks. i see what your saying
