Chiellini alone make intrigue for the second leg no matter the stats Juventus was far better team but again to many misses but i stil think they will beat Borussia again in the second leg.
Good game from Dortmund in the first half, where they were the better team despite those two big mistakes in the defense. Juve couldn´t cope with it for a long time.
In the second half though Dortmund became totally harmless and Juve started to be more dangerous in front of the goal.
Therefore 2-1 is a good result for Dortmund, could have been worse in the second half...
Juventus was the better of two average teams. Neither team will stand a chance in the quarterfinals if they keep that level...
@hindy They were easily caught by Buffon...Juve had two or three close-to-goal chances by Tevez and Pereyra...Anyway, second leg will be tougher for Juve
And another horrible tackle through the legs! WTF?! Late, from behind and far away from the ball. Dirty game from Juventus. Pogba and Vidal should be already out.
Not only it resulted in injury, but later Piszczek was the one missing when Pogba (...) passed from the left. Sokratis is great central defender but only decent right back.
And also for me Pogba is overrated. I'm not saying he's bad, but definitely not for Bale, Ronaldo or even Suarez price-tag. 40 M € +20-25 M for the potential making 60-65 overall would be a fair price.
@El_Duderino That's why the head-to-head is easily in Italy's favour, is it? Or the fact that Italy's results in Europe are far better this season too, right?
@El_Duderino Well, I agree with you about Pogba coz hes always overhyped when he scores a nice goal then he suddenly becomes one of the best players in the world and after that its quiet about him for the next few months..
At the moment Premier League is better but as an Inter fan i hope Serie A is going to be back where it belongs

Aub is a better striker than ramos and immoble, i really do enjoy him up front, i'm really upset the way Immoble has turned out at dortmund, i had great hopes for him
Dortmund are not as bad as they look on the league table, nor are they favorites to go through to the quarter finals. Although not at their best, Juventus are a better side and will likely beat Dortmund. The important part of this match is if Dortmund manage to get an away goal. Logical scores 2-0,3-0,2-1,3-1,4-1,1-1
Pretty major few days for Italian football. If Juve don't make a good run this year they may lose Pogba and for somewhat less money than other circumstances, with a poorer bargaining position. Pirlo will be a year older. They have, IMO, the best midfield in the world. That said most teams don't field four central midfielders. All the big teams have big weaknesses. They have to at least reach the final I think and have one Italian team win the EL, between Viola, Inter, Napoli and Roma someone has to really go for it.
I won't say the entire future of Calcio depends on it but it could be the difference between a return to prominence happening in 4/5 years or 10/15 or more years.
@dSquib I agree something needs to happen fast otherwise its not gonna end well. Italy is a poor place right now and only getting poorer and you know that football is very money related without going into too much detail. Lets just hope some big investors come in and spend well, cus I cant see it happening any other way. Unless Italys economy suddenly turns round, but with the kind of corrupt politicians there are there, its only getting bled dry
Dortmund have been good in the Champions League, and their recent Bundesliga form has been improving. No one can deny that the Italian League is not what it used to be. Juve have an old, slow team. Vidal has not been as good as he was last season. Draw, or Dortmund to win by one goal.
@What4 Pirlo plays a sedentary passing game. He is flanked by highly energetic players. Buffon is a goalkeeper. . . Other than that Juve are not a slow team at all.
@dSquib Not for italian standards but for the rest of the world they are a slow team, their whole game approach is not based on pace and speed.
We will see tonight ... :-)
@neumi17 There are a number of Italian teams faster than Juve, but Juve are not slow, not by Italian, German, Spanish or English standards. They are not as fast as Dortmund, but that does not make them slow. They also don't play a particularly high line. They might lose to Dortmund over two legs (though I think it's unlikely) but it won't be because they are too slow.
Juventus are gonna be fired up for this one. I cant see anything less than a high grade performance from them. If my instincts are correct, BVB are going down!
2-0 2-1 juventus
@hellreaper It doesn't matter. Juve is exactly the team that Dortmund eats for breakfast. Slow,no pace, organized and old fashioned build up. There is no team that is easier to play against for Dortmund than Juventus...
@neumi17 i completely agree with your judgement, this will be a very interesting match, and plus regardless their form dortmund will ALWAYS put a fight against old fashion bigger teams, on top of that juve has been very shaky in their past CL games
Juve to win with 2-3 goals. Dortmund are not that good and away from home Juve can exploit them. High intensity from Dortmund? You need high pass accuracy rate for that and Dortmund are even struggling there so its a home win. And I think a home win, means Juve through to the next round, because away from home they can adapt to be a defensive style.
@calciozucchini Dortmund is not that good good right now, thats right. but good enough for Juventus. In the whole league is not a single team that plays modern and high speed football. Juventus knows how Dortmund opperates but has no clue what to do against it. Tactics don`t help much if your team gets thrown into chaos confusion the whole time.
Dormtund will overpower a clueless Juventus and reach at least a draw...
@neumi17 ditch the arrogance and ignorance, and I am not even a Juve fan so I do not need that comment in the least. I am a Napoli fan and Napoli play pretty well in Europe - few teams beat us at home - whoever they are whether they are chelsea.dortmund.arsenal.man city. bayern etc. Dortmund were top of the Bund last year and were comfortably beaten by Napoli at home as were Arsenal (who were top of the EPL) Napoli are never great away from home, Juve are better because they are better defensively than Napoli to deal with away assualts.
Juve are a strong side and you would do well to respect them and their results. They are strong technically, and tactically astute and Atletico and RM have not beaten them at home in the last year, so watch out. I have been watching Dortmund - I like Dortmund better than I do Juve, but they are playing very very poor and their only real light so far is beating Arsenal at home. It is just my opinion.
@neumi17 Dortmund is bad team at the moment. With five lightweighted attacking midfielders Dortmund defence is too exposed. Two years ago they were pressing higher up but that is gone now. Juventus doesnt have a clue ;) do u know that Juventus players are little older and more experinced. I am not fan of Juve and Dortmund played great but this team is weak Juve to win this easily.
@otokam@otokam - wouldn't say that Dortmund is an inexperienced team...all players at Dortmund are VERY actually experienced, Reus, Gundogan, Sahin, Hummels, Schmelzer, Sokratis... Juventus is older on average because they have Pirlo and Buffon still playing...whether this really helps them remains to be seen. Besides Kehl and Bender are not doubtful and thus one of them or both might play today. Finally, it is really way to straightforward to say that Juventus will win this "easily". It might be a reality check for you
@kmj Evra , Chiellini, Tevez, Pirlo, Buffon Llorente,Vidal Lichensteiner all these players are more experienced than any dortmund players and in CL u need experience.
@kmj Ok Goalkeppers: Juve stronger alltough Buffon is not same as few years ago. Defence: Juve any time Dortmund defence is comic this seson too slow, not so physical as Juventus. Miedfield Dortmund have really creative midfield but lacks physical strenght while Juve have creative and strong midfield. Dortmund needs Bender back. Attack: Aubmeyang is quick but lacks in decision making and i would pick Juve attack allday long. Juve is better in every department and will destroy Dortmund. If u think Dortmund is same team it was two years ago than u need reality check.
@kmj Dortmund are experienced, but its all about form in the end not experience. The Juve team have experienced a lot club and internationally. If you removed Buffon Pirlo it would reduce the gap, and the midfield is pretty young - its the fittest and the most busiest part of that team - defending and attacking - But as you say, no game in the CL is easy - every game is tough, and I doubt either side are thinking its as easy as their own fans might think...my feeling is a home win 2-0. I think that would be enough for Juve to go through - based on the sides currently.
@calciozucchini - I agree, its about a mix of form, skills and experience - Dortmund played semis/finals/quarters at the CL and have some world cup winners in their rank plus they got Reus and some other high potentials. Juventus likewise has lots of high potentials... Based on form, Juventus should grind it out today but I believe a 2-0 is to high of a margin, but it is of course very possible. Personally, I think a draw or a close victory by either side is more likely, and it will be still very open in the 2nd leg. Dortmund has much more confidence and won the last 3 matches plus in the CL they dont have as much pressure to win... Yet Juventus is the current Serie A champion and arguably the best side in Italy. Today its close and even if Dortmund will get a favorable result like 1-1 or so, they are far from being steady at home....
Juve to win 3-1. I attribute Juve's recent lackluster performances in Serie A to arrogance. They will bring their A-game to this one because they need to. Forza JUVE!!
Morata is the MoM !!!
Chiellini alone make intrigue for the second leg no matter the stats Juventus was far better team but again to many misses but i stil think they will beat Borussia again in the second leg.

Pogba got MOTM mainly for eliminating BVB's RB - Piszczek, without even a yellow. It's beyond me.
zero chance of goal created by BVB, besides the chiellini gift
@ryangiggs Three shots on target, same as Juve.
@hindy They were easily caught by Buffon...Juve had two or three close-to-goal chances by Tevez and Pereyra...Anyway, second leg will be tougher for Juve
@ryangiggs they press better than anybody but when that doesn't produce immediate fruit they look out of ideas. A good team though.
LOL, the commentator "Oh dear, Giorgio Chiellini does a Steven Gerrard!"
@TheRedCard Happens to the best of us. Let's hope it doesn't prove to be as costly.
take it in the ass germany !
@KingSchultz bvb is not germany
@KingSchultz ?
BRAVO KLOP, the lineup finally placed correctly! thumb up from me
Dirty game man
@stiop Dirty tactics should have earned so many more yellows and reds!
2-1 = juve out
GRANDE JUVEEE
More like dirty Juve.
WTF is up with the subs?!?! Should have straight swapped Krich for Piszczek now a midfielder on for a striker. Klopp fail
And another horrible tackle through the legs! WTF?! Late, from behind and far away from the ball. Dirty game from Juventus. Pogba and Vidal should be already out.
Bring on Kagawa!
Pobgba tackle result with bad injury, no card, Vidal kicks Immobile, no card. Besides, Schmelcer terrible display, and Mkhitarian, as usual.
Not only it resulted in injury, but later Piszczek was the one missing when Pogba (...) passed from the left. Sokratis is great central defender but only decent right back.
God, i love Borussia is back to their famous pressing. Juve is looking like they're playing away from home.
Thats exactly what I expected, Juve can`t deal at all with the pressure of Dortmund, They are just not used to it ...
Who presses anymore in Serie A? Palermo and Roma at times.
And also for me Pogba is overrated. I'm not saying he's bad, but definitely not for Bale, Ronaldo or even Suarez price-tag. 40 M € +20-25 M for the potential making 60-65 overall would be a fair price.
lol... Bale definitely wasnt worth the money Real paid for him
@don_konkelo Maybe. But it only makes 100M €+ price tag for Pogba even bigger joke. I mean, Premier League is simply much better than Serie A.
That Pogba tackle was helluva reckless. Straight red for me.
Two mistakes, two goals and of course it is Reus... :-)
@neumi17 nobody care

Kevin Grosskreutz Out Nothing makes me more happy
WHY ISNT KAGAWA STARTING
@Lucasfernandes simple put, mkhi is superior footballer every aspectually
@Lucasfernandes Henrikh is presumably expected to be more likely to press Pirlo consistently and effectively.
Aub is a better striker than ramos and immoble, i really do enjoy him up front, i'm really upset the way Immoble has turned out at dortmund, i had great hopes for him
@Lucasfernandes oi viado
Btts

@Turan 2-1 it is.
Juve have to attack Dortmund. They are back on form in terms of goals but are still conceding many. I'm just not sure Allegri will do it.
1-3 win dordmund

1-2
I expect Juve to be very cagey in this match. It will probably end 0-0, or 1-0 to Juve, absent of any major errors in defense.
Reus and Tevez to score 1-1
Dortmund's form is returning as of now, Reus will score and dortmund to win 2-1
2-1 Juve. Reus will score though ♥.
Both teams to score
It will be Juve 2:00......
tasty game but i will have to miss it , 3-1 for juve

@juventino83 Exactly what happened. Should have been 2-0 even 3-0 or 4-0 if it wasnt for that big mistake from chiellini
good luck Bvb!
1-2 for Dortmund.
Juve 1-0 Dortmund. At the moment Dortmund concede lots of goals in Bundesliga they are not well balance.
juve 6-0
None of theese teams have really had a good journy in their respective leauges. I would expect goals from both sides, but it's hard to pick a winner..
Bvb will win.juve doesn't have a chance
@glenbayern Are you stupid? it's away from home...
@hellreaper It doesn't matter. Juve is exactly the team that Dortmund eats for breakfast. Slow,no pace, organized and old fashioned build up. There is no team that is easier to play against for Dortmund than Juventus...

Reus and Aubameyang will score for Dortmund, Pogba will make a good game and Pirlo is going to be taken out of the game.
Morata will obviously start seeing he rested last match, important defensive characteristic: speed.

worst world problem is that two good champions league games are on the same time..

Hope watch a good game! Forza Juve!
