The positions you have here are incorrect. It looked more like Dembele was alongside Dier and Alli further forward. Even the average positions chart backs this up.
Alli 6.7 and Dier 6.2... what madness is this, they gave alli man of the match. Both were phenomenal at shutting down arsenal's midfield, cazorla was taken off at half because of them
@vavbutaney- That's a slight overstatement. Cazorla has dealt with better midfielders than Dier and Alli. He was taken off because it was clear this wasn't going to be a passing game but more of a traditional midfield battle in a typical local derby (bit of a throwback to the 90s in all honesty) and the type of player Santi is wasn't called for in this match. He also looked physically tired. That's not taking away from Dier and Alli at all, I'm a fan of both, they hustled very well and that pains me to say as a Gooner but Santi being taken off was 90% a tactical change. You may see that as semantics though.
Spurs played well but I don't think they can complain about not winning. Their game-plan was simply to get in the faces of our ball-players rather than playing themselves. Some good hustling by Alli and Dier in particular but not much footballing quality. Cazorla looked physically tired. He has done for a couple of games. I think had Ramsey been fit, Cazorla would've been rested but injuries are a problem yet again for us. Coquelin again had to do 3 players' defensive work. Wenger needs to drum it into the front 4 that they have to do some defending as well. Glad Oezil got an assist though. That's the prem record now. Giroud had to stick at least 2 of his 4 chances away. You know Lewandowski, Benzema or Cavani would've. In summary, we played badly, terribly in fact, but didn't lose. It makes a change to the usual Arsenal way of playing well and not winning.
When a Manchester derby disappoints you know you can count on a NLD to entertain. Some great end to end stuff. Ali , Kane and Eriksen looked bright. For Arsenal Ozil was sublime , Giroud was useless. Should have scored at least once. Sanchez was brainless and garbage. While Gibbs brought on some much needed urgency. Decent game all round.
I hope Son Heung-Min (good lad) opens scoring early pushing Arsenal to step it up and put 4 past Tottenham with Özil working lots of his invisible magic and going underappreciated as always. COYG!!!
Form is temporary but class is permanent.
Inform Spurs are up against an uphill.
This game spurs will score 2-3 goals but in the end of the day Arsenal will win .
Arsenal to win with handicap 1+ goals.
4-2 / 5-2 . Am backing Arsenal win with both teams scoring @5 odds or Ov45 at least @3.8 odds
Martin Atkinson is the ref. Collective head-hanging by Arsenal fans followed by collective 'jumping and jigging' when you realise it's not Mike Dean. It's a bit like dodging a bullet only to be run over by a car.
I'm not a Spurs fan but would like to see them win because I like Pochettino's style of football. The high pressing they have is so awesome to watch. Spurs to win 5-2!
@What4 Of course you would say that. You better hope Cech has gotten over the Bayern nightmare. He will have to be in top form because Arsenal's defence are sh*t.
@What4 No Bellerin, and possibly no Koscielny. It doesn't say much for the league if Arsenal have the joint best defence. Bayern made them look like a bunch of amateurs.
@mikers135- The joint best defence in the league includes Bellerin and Koscielny and the one who played badly against Bayern didn't. Take out 50% of the greatest defences of all time, couple it with a lack of pressing from the midfield and you'll see similar results against an attack as good as Bayern's. As JMCD said below, look at the reverse fixture where Bayern created maybe 2 genuine goal-scoring chances to our 6 or 7 and you'll see our first choice quartet aren't bad at all. Nevertheless, even with Debuchy and Gabriel in defence, the Spurs attack aren't Bayern and we're at home.
Spurs going from high to high and arsenal flying in the league and both teams playing good attacking football, Spurs look great and arsenal are at home, all signs point to a great derby. But Spurs edge it for me with Kane back, his goals last year in this game were strikers goals, COYS its time for London to bring red
A draw common?? Arsenal will sweep this Spurs side like they have in the past 20 years or so, I don't see Tottenham nicking a point at Emirates, 2/3:0 to Arsenal! Spurs have not one single world class player in their team bar Loris!
Being at home, I don't think you have to worry about the players wanting to bounce back from the crushing at Bayern. Gabriel in particular had a nightmare so needless to say I'll be glad if Koscielny is back. He and Mertesacker have looked solid in all but maybe a handful of games they've played the 90 together. Any other partnership of our 4 CBs looks crap, mainly because of lack of game time- which is understandable. Kane is scoring and Eriksen has been very good of late but I think we'll have too much quality in attack. 2-1, Alexis MotM.
Playing 3 games in 7 days won't help Spurs at all, I'm writing this in advance but looking at Tottenham's Europa League group, they need to get something from their game Thursday night so if they don't rest key players I can't see Tottenham getting much from an in form Arsenal (baring their Capital One Cup result).
Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
@pred you have to consider also that Arsenal are travelling to Munich and it's very very difficult game for them. For Tottenham they are playing at home and it is a difficult game also so I think it will be a draw in the north London derby
The positions you have here are incorrect. It looked more like Dembele was alongside Dier and Alli further forward. Even the average positions chart backs this up.
Mertesacker is slow. Flamini and Arteta's days are over. A reliable striker should be bought.
Alli 6.7 and Dier 6.2... what madness is this, they gave alli man of the match. Both were phenomenal at shutting down arsenal's midfield, cazorla was taken off at half because of them
@vavbutaney- That's a slight overstatement. Cazorla has dealt with better midfielders than Dier and Alli. arsenals defeat against bayern left them with agony
lloris = most overrated keeper ever.
@FootballFanatic no, he is not overrated. I think he is underrated by many fans
@FootballFanatic HAHAHAHAHA
As a neutral spurs bossed arsenal and were far better side. Whoscored needs to stop licking arsenal a**. ozil MOTM...LOL
@WazzaFC ozil 1 assist 7key passes, almost 2,5* more than any spurs player "lol"
Not our greatest performance. Draw is fair
Spurs played well but I don't think they can complain about not winning. Their game-plan was simply to get in the faces of our ball-players rather than playing themselves. @SteveHyland cavani wouldn't have dude, he is as terrible as giroud at finishing. I watch him play every week
@SteveHyland Agreed. Giroud reminding us just how frustrating he can be to watch - really should have scored at least one.
@Maniac he's incrediby streaky. Still love him though. He's our beautiful Frenchman
5-1 on the table
arsenal 1x3 spurs
@jeu Can you stop?
@abright70 Now! Make me stop
@jeu I don't know how to speak another language (aside from some pretty poor German) so I commend you, but I think you meant "No" instead of "Now"
go spurs
harrykane , he is the back
I hope Son Heung-Min (good lad) opens scoring early pushing Arsenal to step it up and put 4 past Tottenham with Özil working lots of his invisible magic and going underappreciated as always. COYG!!!
son h.m will get a brace

Martin Atkinson is the ref. Collective head-hanging by Arsenal fans followed by collective 'jumping and jigging' when you realise it's not Mike Dean. It's a bit like dodging a bullet only to be run over by a car.
I'm not a Spurs fan but would like to see them win because I like Pochettino's style of football. The high pressing they have is so awesome to watch. Spurs to win 5-2!
1-1 or 2-2
2-2

rose é super importante tanto para defender tanto para atacar
tomara que rose esteja bem para o jogo

o chelsea perdeu vamo ver se vai dar mole viu tottenham
go spurs
spurs spurs
e pode ser isso um motivo para o tottenham ganhar
arsenal desfalcado mas o totenham nao tem nada a ver
son back
harry kane 3x he is the back
@jeu- You said 2-0, well 2x0 whatever the hell that means, a post ago. What happened in those, maybe 10 seconds, which gave Kane a 3rd goal?
spurs 2x0
go spurs
Can't see the spuds getting past Cech. Arsenal 2 - 0 Spuds.
@What4 You've literally made this prediction for ever "Spuds" game this season. You've been wrong every time.
@abright70 By the way, do you know what 'literally' means?
@abright70 It's nice to know you're following my every word.
@What4 By the way, do you know what "Can't" means?
@What4 Of course you would say that. You better hope Cech has gotten over the Bayern nightmare. He will have to be in top form because Arsenal's defence are sh*t.
@mikers135 You do know Arsenal have the joint-best defence in the league, right?
@What4 No Bellerin, and possibly no Koscielny. It doesn't say much for the league if Arsenal have the joint best defence. Bayern made them look like a bunch of amateurs.
@mikers135 I really doubt we'll need our best defence for Spuds.
@mikers135- The joint best defence in the league includes Bellerin and Koscielny and the one who played badly against Bayern didn't. @mikers135 it wasn't a first team squad, look at the reverse fixture and our premier league results. The stats speak for themselves.
draw maybe
Spurs going from high to high and arsenal flying in the league and both teams playing good attacking football, Spurs look great and arsenal are at home, all signs point to a great derby. But Spurs edge it for me with Kane back, his goals last year in this game were strikers goals, COYS its time for London to bring red
@vavbutaney stop being red* lol
If Arsenal wins this, they will top the table.
A draw common?? Arsenal will sweep this Spurs side like they have in the past 20 years or so, I don't see Tottenham nicking a point at Emirates, 2/3:0 to Arsenal! Spurs have not one single world class player in their team bar Loris!

I'll go for a 1-1 draw here.
Tottenham have been improving but Arsenal should end their unbeaten run here. With Koscielny back their defense is much stronger.
Spurs will lose like they always do.. 3-0 easily.
3-0
A draw is most likely in this derby game
Bellerin is out for this one. Hopefully Koss will be back. Otherwise this is gonna be a really tough one. 1-1 in my opinion. COYG
Hector Bellerin is a doubt for this game as he is out of the match vs Bayern with a groin injury. :O
spurs win
at least i could do so

@Pred save the starting lineup and focus on the classic north london
