I am curious about Klopp...
He brought a new idea into play a few years ago that was quite successful but had no answers if his team has to active against a team that doesn't want the ball.
I don't think he is the greatest guy when it comes to tactical things and to improve players individually. He was a very technical limited player himself and favors " Gegenpressing " to skillful play. He has a gameplan on how to get the ball but not necessarily on what to do with it in a creative matter!
He prefers hard battling, fast players to skillful players.
Will see how that works in Liverpool for him...
@neumi17 Which is exactly why the Prem is such a great league for him. Back in Bundesliga that was what seperated Dortmund from Bayern, especially during the last season. Playing against a rather patient opponent isn't Klopp's strongest suit, no.
Still, Klopp is a very, very capable manager, especially when it comes to top clashes, which there are quite a lot of in this league. It definitely wasn't by chance that he and his lads were a pain in van Gaal's Bayern's asses(, and Heynckes' for one season at least).
Most importantly, fans and media need to give him the time he needs. There's been a lot of hype and I'm sure 'the normal one' can live up to that!
@Enganche10 "Back in Bundesliga that was what seperated Dortmund from Bayern, especially during the last season" Yes but they still won the league twice...
@G_Fauvana Because Klopps approach to the game was still new 3 or 4 years ago ! Since 2013 his lack of ideas against good defending teams was quite obvious. Mostly it looked horrible what Dortmund showed creatively since they just didn`t want to have the ball...
@G_Fauvana I'm absolutely aware of that, though Dortmund had a hard time keeping up since then. Bayern had that miraculous 12/13 season after getting destroyed by BvB for two years, the 5-2 humiliation being the peak, and losing the CL-final at Allianz Arena of all places. Klopp and Dortmund just couldn't hold their pace, teams started playing more defensively and sooner than later Dortmund faced the same problems as van Gaal's Bayern did in 2011. Teams started playing defensively, Klopp and his men had a hard time finding solutions.

Klopp will be better than Rodgers for sure, but with the long list of key injuries I can see Spurs coming away with a win. 2-1 for Spurs, Kane, Eriksen, and Milner. COYS
Eriksen is in form, Kane looks sharper by the game (and it's only a matter of time before he goes on a big scoring run I'm sure), Dier & Alli have been solid in midfield and the central defence has been decent. It's only the full-backs who are an obvious (defensive) weakness for Tottenham. With Benteke out, I don't see Liverpool scoring more than 1 so will go 2-1 Spurs, Eriksen MotM.
mignolet motm! with 3 decent saves
@white_rip_it.. i was bet on spurs...but bad luck!
I was expected 0-0
@parvez_308 me was too
@whiteout_rip_it think I so well as ... ( sorry,my brain got yodarized)
No dribbles for Eriksen yet ? ? I have seen at least 4 or 5
@neumi17 But were they successful?
@hindy The run past three defenders when he assisted to Kanes hammer ? Those were 2 dribbles alone ...
Wow, what a save by Mignolet ! Good run by Eriksen ...
Same as in the Bundesliga Klopp doesn`t substitute before 80th minute ...

I honestly cant see this game ending with a draw. Too much tension, too many expectations.
@truestory are you able to do that now?
This game likely to be draw.

With such mediocre bunch, i doubt klopp can make immediate impact.
easy game to predict riverpool to win
@wolfmother If you say so everyone can be shure of a clear Tottenham victory than...
I'm going with a 1-0 to Spurs. Liverpool fans will be brought back down to earth with an Eriksen FK or a Son Heung Min goal. MOTM Eriksen.
тотенхем 1-0 или 0-0
Klopp will come good, but not immediately 2-0.
Liverpool win again.
most likely a draw

@SteveHyland no Dier or Alli this game
@xizai910- How come?
@SteveHyland Alli can play, it's Dier who is suspended. Mason and Bentaleb injured.
@WilliePete- Ah yes, forgot about Dier's suspension.
Klopp's debut. Can he satisfy the Kop?
@Overmars I don't think so
