Marseille
- Jocelyn Gourvennec is still sweating on the fitness of Lars Jacobsen and Nicolas Benezet, who are both expected to start if available this weekend.
- The French manager is expected to make some changes up front after seeing his side fail to score for the third consecutive match.
- New signing Jimmy Briand will nonetheless retain his starting spot for the reception of Marseille, although the experienced striker remains unable to play for 90 minutes.
- Abou Diaby is nearing full-match fitness but will not feature for l'Olympique de Marseille before the international break, a fate that will be shared by teammate Brice Dja Djédjé.
- Abdel Barrada is still struggling with a thigh problem and may be replaced by Jacques-Alaixys Romao in what would be the only expected change from the side that thrashed Troyes last time out.
i wouldn't get too carried away with the 6-0 win at home last week. the defending was beyond shocking. this will be a test for marseille. i'd prob back a draw. would not bet on this game though.
There's going to be be a glorious victory for Marseille on the sacred grass of the arena. Tonight will be remembered forever! A victory that carries weight, long after it's passing. Poets shall sing La Marseillaise and blood shall fall!
