Team News
Wolfsburg
Bayern
- Luiz Gustavo has only been back from injury for one week and won't be part of the squad, meaning Maximilian Arnold and Josuha Guilavogui should start in central midfield.
- Kevin De Bruyne had to cancel training on Thursday because of a back problem. The Belgian is a doubt for the match.
- Up front, Bas Dost is not yet fully fit and could be replaced by Max Kruse, who would make his Wolfsburg debut in a competitive game.
- Manager Pep Guardiola could field a fluid 3-4-3 system, with Rafinha helping out at right centre-back, as Holger Badstuber, Dante, Javi Martínez and Mehdi Benatia will most likely miss the match due to injury and fitness concerns.
- The new Bavarian, Arturo Vidal, only arrived from holiday this week after Chile's Copa America triumph and will probably feature from the bench, if at all.
- Arjen Robben is not quite fully fit and has not played in pre-season. New signing Douglas Costa will most like get the nod on the left wing as a result.
Reporter to Pele: Your Thoughts on Bendtner? Pele: Im far better than him. Reoprter to Lord: Do U Agree with Pele? Lord: Who Is Pele? :D
Alonso is bad at penalties.
@arny.diaz.7 You're being polite by saying ''bad''.
surprise...Lord Bendtner :))
@AndreyNosatii Well, can't say Wolfsburg didn't deserve it. Good win. But seriously, you woud expect more of Neuer...He coudn't even get the right corner in the penalty shootout.
Awww, now penalties. \=
ROBBEN!!!
Only managed to get back home now, how is the game going? Is it really that balanced?
@felipe9525 Pretty much
Wolfsburg to win, Schurrle and Kruse to score.
@AndreyNosatii Schürrle is on of the most overrated players in football. He has little to zero skill. And of course he won't make an impact besides running all over the place. If he plays at all...
@neumi17 ”overrated”, but he scored from a penalty.
@AndreyNosatii And that means what exactly ?
Pep said that Robben is fit for the game today. Not sure if he will start though.
