  • Really wish I said "The Germans would score 7" then I could've argued I was correct. :-p . Bit of a strange team put out. Did Hummels, Hector, Mueller and Gomez need to play this game being they, along with Neuer, Kroos and Oezil, are guaranteed starters when everybody is fit? Could argue for Khedira too. I know it's a qualification game, but it's unfathomable that Germany would fail to beat San Marino if they fielded any possible 11 from their squad in their correct position, so I would've picked an entirely 2nd XI to avoid potential injuries in nothing else. Good to see Gnabry scoring. I would've hoped Arsenal could set up a season-long loan move to a team where Serge was almost a guaranteed starter but he wanted a degree of permanence, which you can respect, and may've just preferred to go back to Germany. He has played ok this season. I just hope we haven't let one slip away.

  • @SteveHyland Don't get it with the " 7 goal thing " but the thing with Gnabry is crazy ! He came out of nowhere and than had 6 goals and 3 assists in 5 games at the Olympics, 4 goals and 2 assists in the Bundesliga and now 3 goals in his debut game. On top he belongs to the 4 best dribblers in the league.

  • Even Hector scored two goals. Germany is on fire wooohoooo.

  • I need 7+ goals to win my coupon)

  • @S3reepp Congratulations ...

  • @S3reepp Will be tough but not impossible. Still I think it will end 6-0

  • The following players won 't be able to play. Özil, Khedira, Brandt, Sané, Kroos, Draxler, Schürrle, Reus, Bellarabi, Neuer, Boateng and Rüdiger... Still think it will be at least 6-0...

  • In between 5 and 10-0 to Germany. It's hard to predict accurately since they are playing amateurs for the most part. I don't think we'll see a repeat of the 13-0 however because that team had Poldi! I would be surprised if Loew doesn't field a largely 2nd choice XI (even if some of those should be first choice) bearing in mind Italy coming up will provide a decent test, albeit one without Barzagli. Whatever the team for this game, 5-0 is the minimum and 10-0 a realistic maximum score imo. If I had to pick a number, I would go with 7. San Marino have lost 7-0 an astonishing number of times.

  • @SteveHyland 13 players are missing of whom 8 are regulars. So we will see...

  • It will be very interesting game, San Marino has one of the best football teams in Europe: best defense line, smart and precise midfielders, deadly strikers and of course triple best goalkeeper. They're also currently World Cup winners. Wait, did i say San Marino? Oh, i meant Germany.
