@richccfc And you can`t even write one sentence that makes sense...We all know by now you don`t like Bundesliga, we get it ! By the way, ANY british team would have lost against this Barca team tonight...
@neumi17- Tbf you are equally biased in favour of the Bundesliga as Rich is against it. Just look at the stats to see if you really think any of the EPL teams would fail to beat this Barca one. They managed just 6 shots to Neverkusen's 26 and only scored 1 of them against a team who have conceded 8 goals in 3 games against the only good attacks in the Bundesliga (could've been a lot more in 2 of those games as well). B04 should've scored 3 or 4 and any EPL team would've. Bayern would've scored 5 or 6 not to mention restrict Barca to maybe 4 shots. I fail to see how even City's defence would concede more than this Leverkusen. Barcelona's first team is fantastic, we all know that, but the one tonight is far from that, and was intended to be a blooding match for 6 of their best U21 players in a game playing alongside their best player and currently best midfielder to see how ready they are.
@SteveHyland Which team do you think would have made it? City? They looked so poor and slow against Gladbach for 60 min that I couldn't belive my eyes.
Manu? Well, they are even slower and don't score...
Chelsea ? Probably not. The only team I could imagine to produce any sort of threat for Barca would have been Arsenal.
Leverkusen created a lot of good scoring opportunities against Barcelona and performed really well except for their finishing. Not English team plays with the intensity in pressing, counterpressing and running as Leverkusen does.
@SteveHyland Rakitic isn't Barca's best midfielder, he's been borderline mediocre this season. Busquets is Barca's best mid, Iniesta a close second, Roberto has also outperformed Rakitic this season.
Enrique used this match to test his players:
Who will be the fourth center back? Bartra VS Varmelen
Who will be kept and who will be sold? Sandro VS Munir
Who will be promoted to the first team? Samper VS Kaptoum VS Gumbau
No chance Leverkusen are going for the victory, as they've won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions. They simply don't have enough to beat this in-form Barcelona team. Even this 'weakened' Barca lineup is still a very strong one.
Those who talk about Leverkusen's 'German discipline', they don't have it. Leverkusen is a very attacking team that scores a lot, but also concedes too many. In the Bundesliga, they've kept only three clean sheets after 15 rounds, whilst conceding 20 in total. This team doesn't have balance and Barca don't even have to be at their best to beat this Leverkusen team.
Leverkusen NEED to win. Barcelona dont even have to play and theyre still first.
I think barcelona arent going to try and theyre going to rest a few players.
Leverkusen win
Barcelona have already won this group, while Bayer need to fight for their advance. I think German mentality won't let Leverkusen down, they can be good for at least one point. Besides, I think both team will score.
@futballstar To get one point, they will have to be very alert at the back else it won't be possible... And yes, they do have bright chances of getting 1 point.
lmao! Leverkusen can't even beat Barca reserve team
@richccfc 26:6 shots 14:4 crosses leverkusen was much more better. but the better team dont win ever see Barca vs Celta 1:4

@richccfc Bundesliga so poor
Ter Stegen was great. Bad TEAM defending, a couple of fluke goals and people forgot that Barça won the CL + Copa del Rey last season with him in goal
Leverkusen very good play and attack, they did not have sufficient accuracy for win goal, although Stegen was very good
Enrique used this match to test his players: Who will be the fourth center back? Bartra VS Varmelen Who will be kept and who will be sold? Sandro VS Munir Who will be promoted to the first team? Samper VS Kaptoum VS Gumbau
Vermaelen (should be 2nd tbh), Sandro and Samper to stay.
Bravo Leverkusen
ter stegen was a beast!!
Once Camara fix his defense, he will be the future. The guy is composed and just good under pressure, amazing prospect!
Leverkusen > Barcelona must be 4:1 Sergio Alba red!
@wawa agree
Adriano and Munir... absolutely shocking.
not balanced, I wanted more players from 1st team and to tear up Bayern... Hope Lucho will let Busquets and Suarez play.
@Taha25 If it were vs Bayern. Results would have been 15-0 lol
what a mess Barca....
LETS GO LEVERKUSEN LETS GO !
who is kaptoum is he any good barca fans
good to see chica doing so well atm
Ter Stegen always asleep
Except Messi doesn't need a star lineup to provide him with tap ins.
@Beastador The team around Messi normally is undoubtedly better than Real Madrid's lineup.
Messi will show CR7 he too can score in unimportant matches..
Leverkusen will surely win.

@SignorEskola Damn shame too our defence used to be so much better even just last year I don't know what happened to our defence.
X2 over 2,5
Leverkusen NEED to win. Barcelona dont even have to play and theyre still first. I think barcelona arent going to try and theyre going to rest a few players. Leverkusen win
@externalworld Barcelona try to win every game. They are good enough to win this even if they rest key players.
@mikers135 they play on time lol
The german discipline will cause some trouble for Barcelona here. Anything is possible but probably 2-3 Barcelona.
0:9
@wawa pass the weed bro
@wawa grow up
@Footballfanatic66 grow up
Have a feeling this will be a Messi show, at least 2 goals and an assist from him.
@bradley.fcb Lesson to learn,don`t trust your feelings in the future ... ;-)
@neumi17 yeah, just didnt expect the lineup to be so poor
Neymar is ruled out of this game with a minor groin injury.
Hard to see Leverkusen win but everything is possible.
@taktiko they might, Barcelona have already qualified as group winners, priority will be giving young players minutes and not getting injuries
0-3
Neymar injured

@futballstar Leverkusen dont have a German mentality! If they have to fight, they sleep!
@futballstar To get one point, they will have to be very alert at the back else it won't be possible... And yes, they do have bright chances of getting 1 point.
@futballstar i agree your opinion.
best match of matchday 6.leverkusen will do anything to win this game but barcelona doesnt want to lose easily.
